Shooting Schedule Clashes Result In Multi-Crore Losses For Film Producers

0

Usually for films with huge stars or even Tier 2 heroes, the producers of the films are always in a safe position, irrespective of the film’s result at the box office. Even for good director-hero combinations, the producer is always assured that he will either make his money back or at the very least, not lose any money.

Because these kinds of films used to make good money at the box office. People used to watch the films just owing to star power or because of the combination. But this has changed for the better. People no longer just go to watch a movie because the actor is good or the combination works. There are many options to choose from in all industries, so the only key to success is a good film.

As a result of this, producers are now going through huge losses. The buyers who used to give offers blindly for star-driven films and top directors have changed their ways. They are keen to know what is happening during the shooting, whether it is going smoothly or there are issues. They are also looking at whether the output is coming good or not.

And when the media reports the clashes during the shooting, the buyers are immediately changing their minds and asking for lower prices. These clashes that mainly occur between the director, hero, and producers are proving to be detrimental to the producers, who are facing losses.

Even in recent times, we have seen this occur multiple times in many movies. It is time for the producers to understand that what worked 10 years ago will simply not work now. The times have changed and so, they must change too or they will just be left behind.

The Megastar is getting involved in these changes to ensure his success streak continues after Waltair Veerayya.

The comedy track and romantic track were one of the weak points in Vedalam. The original starred Shruti Haasan and her romantic track with Ajith was considered to be a drawback. Chiranjeevi and Meher Ramesh have reportedly taken care of this and these portions have been changed in Bhola Shankar. The sentiment and action sequences which were one of the high points of the movie have been retained as they were with Megastar all set to give his personal touch to the project.

Although the movie was successful, it took almost another two years for Srinivas to appear on the silver screen again. He explained why that kind of situation came in his life.

Bellamkonda Srinivas stated that everyone thinks that he was able to get into films easily because his father was a producer. He said that is true, but he continued he was in the industry because he worked hard. His first movie, Alludu Seenu was a blockbuster and Srinivas said his father was the producer of that movie, and he was very supportive. According to Srinivas, Samantha and Tamanna did not agree to work with him just like that. He had created a demo video of 5 minutes each of dance, acting, action and sent it to them.

After watching the video, both the star heroines agreed to do the film and it was very successful. But Bellamkonda family was already facing financial difficulties at that time. A few films which were produced and distributed by Bellamkonda Suresh had brought losses. Srinivas stated because of the pressure increasing on him, he turned down many opportunities which came towards him. He sat at home for a year and a half. After that, he did the second film with a low budget. Bellamkonda Srinivas said that he stood up in every way with Jaya Janaki Nayaka film, which was directed by Boyapati Srinu as he showed faith in him.

0

Shahrukh Khan- Atlee’s much-awaited action entertainer Jawan has been postponed from its scheduled release date of 2nd June. The film is now being planned for August release but that has become a tricky proposition for the makers of this project. Multiple films are lined up for August release including Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal being directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

With multiple biggies being planned for August, Shahrukh Khan’s Jawan is now seeking a mid-September release lot. But that would put the movie in competition with Prabhas’ Salaar which is slated to release on 28th September.

Several dates and options were considered by Jawan makers which include July 28, August 11, and August 25, and finally, the actor seems to have locked mid-September to mark the arrival of Jawan to the big screen.

The team has been considering postponing the film for a while. They want to ensure the best possible output and don’t want to rush the post-production works and publicity. Red Chillies, which is handling the VFX of the movie and the other key stakeholders of the movie including Shah Rukh Khan himself have decided to push the movie to later dates.

Jawan will also star Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathy, and Priyamani and will be a pan-India project releasing in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam along with Hindi. Anirudh Ravichander is composing music for the film.

He also responded to media rumors about his love life and relationship with Samantha. Chaitanya stated that Samantha is a lovely person.

In an interview with the media, when Naga was asked whether he and Samantha have moved on, he said, ‘Yes. It’s been more than two years since we separated and a year since we were formally divorced. The court has granted us a divorce. Both of us have moved on with our lives. I have tremendous respect for that phase of my life.’ Praising Samantha, Naga Chaitanya said, ‘She is a lovely person and deserves all happiness. It is only when the media speculates that things get awkward between us. In the public eye, that mutual respect is taken away. That’s what I feel bad about.’

Naga Chaitanya said that the media, bring in the third person who is not really connected to his past and make the news. He said it was very disrespectful to the third party, as they are is needlessly intertwined with his past. There’s a rumor that Naga Chaitanya is dating Sobhita Dhulipala. Their photos from London had gone viral at a restaurant. The Ponniyin Selvan 2 actress has been labelled as a home breaker.

Anyone would be angry with this kind of fabricated news on their personal lives, and Chaitanya’s fury seems justified in this case. Definitely, the unwanted news and over gossips about the personal relations of celebrities will affect their mental health. We hope the rumor mongers in the media refrain from doing such acts at least from now on.
