Naga Chaitanya’s Thank You movie was released in theatres today and has opened to mixed responses and disastrous opening day collections. Despite the constant promotions and events around the film, it has failed to grasp the attention of audiences.
Even the advance bookings of the film are not improving and it is heading towards a disastrous opening day at the box office. At this rate, even double-digit worldwide share collections seem highly unlikely for Thank You.
From the looks of things, Thank You seems to be the halt to Naga Chaitanya’s streak of hits. He was on a dream run with back-to-back hits in the form of Majili, Love Story, and Bangarraju. It looks like Thank You will not be welcomed into this list.
However, everyone has mentioned that Naga Chaitanya’s performance was brilliant. It is clear that the actor has given his hundred percent in the film. But, unfortunately, poor writing and flat narration cannot save this coming-of-age drama.
The film is also backed by able performances from Raashi Khanna, Malavika Nair, and Avika Gor. Vikram Kumar is the director of the movie and Dil Raju is the producer. Thaman S is the music director of Thank You.
