It is a known fact that Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming project Bhola Shankar is a remake of Ajith’s 2015 action entertainer Vedalam. Megastar and Meher Ramesh have changed the original story to suit Telugu nativity. Alongside this, this film will be higher on entertainment quotient and action to suit Chiranjeevi’s image. The Megastar is getting involved in these changes to ensure his success streak continues after Waltair Veerayya.
The comedy track and romantic track were one of the weak points in Vedalam. The original starred Shruti Haasan and her romantic track with Ajith was considered to be a drawback. Chiranjeevi and Meher Ramesh have reportedly taken care of this and these portions have been changed in Bhola Shankar. The sentiment and action sequences which were one of the high points of the movie have been retained as they were with Megastar all set to give his personal touch to the project.
Keerthy Suresh will be seen as Chiranjeevi’s sister in the film while Tamannaah will play the leading lady opposite Chiranjeevi. Sushanth will appear in a crucial role in the film. Anil Sunkara’s AK Entertainment is producing Bhola Shankar together with Creative Commercials.
