The Distributors and Producers are causing damage to their films and also to the Tollywood by their ignorant behavior towards the Ticket Prices. They are foolishly applying the same ticket prices for big and small movies without any difference. Now, the question in every movie lover’s mind is why Tollywood Distributors and Producers are Reluctant to Embrace Flexible Ticket Pricing Culture?

Many netizens have also stated the opinion that the producers should adopt the flexible ticket pricing culture in Telugu States, which will safeguard the theaters and will provide better openings to the films. As said above, even for small and medium budget films also the producers are choosing maximum ticket prices, which is having a severe effect on the opening day numbers itself with disastrous bookings for those movies.

The producers and distributors should start having flexible ticket prices as they can start with medium prices at first and if the bookings are good and the talk is positive, then they can increase the ticket prices accordingly. This strategy will definitely work towards a viable solution of fewer footfalls.

Tollywood producers and distributors can also apply the policy of different prices for different shows. If we observe the occupancy for the evening, night shows will be different from Noon and Matinees. Another option will be putting different prices for the weekdays and weekends. Overall, to stabilize the footfalls and to save the theaters, the Tollywood Producers and Distributors should start the flexible ticket pricing culture, which will undoubtedly make things better for them.

However, the Akkineni heroes are not having good days as their movies turning up as failures continuously.

Nagarjuna’s last film Ghost was a massive failure, and Naga Chaitanya’s both latest film Custody and previous film Thank You were colossal disasters. Coming to Akhil, this young hero has not delivered a.proper hit today in his 6 year career except for MEB, which was ended as an above average at the box office. Akhil’s latest film Agent became one of the biggest disasters of the Telugu Film Industry.

If we observe the career of Akkineni heroes,romantic entertainers have always been their strength, but they came out of this and tried with some other genres such as action thrillers, which are misfiring and the movies are faring terribly. The last three films of these heroes like The Ghost, Agent, and Custody have been made as an action entertainers. These films have not only bombed at the box office, but they also failed to get decent openings on the first day.

Akkineni Heroes should understand what audiences are expecting from them and should focus on that. Naga Chaitanya’s all big hit films are romantic entertainers and Akhil has a very good following among youth girls, but he is not doing love stories, which are the right kind of films for the youth audience. Moreover, Nagarjuna is not doing the family entertainers these days. All the three heroes are doing serious films which are not being liked by the audience. Therefore the films are not even getting the decent openings.

SSMB28 team planning to release the teaser in theaters

Nowadays, the promotional strategies in the Telugu Film Industry are changing day by day. According to the reports, the team of SSMB28 is planning to release the teaser in theaters on Superstar Krishna Garu’s birth anniversary [31st May]. Also on the same day, Krishna Garu’s old classic film Mosagallaku Mosagadu is re releasing in the theaters. So, plans are on to attach the SSMB28 teaser in those theaters in which Mosagallaku Mosagadu will be playing.

It is very well known to everyone that Superstar Mahesh Babu and Trivikram are working for SSMB28. The fans of Mahesh and other neutral audiences are also waiting eagerly for this movie. Recently, the makers of SSMB28 revealed that they will be releasing it on Sankranthi 2024 (January 13th). However, after that announcement the proceedings of this movie have been slowed down, but the film’s team now is all set to do huge promotions.

After a 12 years gap, Mahesh Babu and Trivikram are coming together with this movie, Pooja Hegde and Sri Leela are playing the heroines. Thaman is composing the music for the film while Naveen Nooli is handling the editing duties and Harika and Hasini Creations are producing the film.

For the first time ever, a pre-release event for a re-release film

The re-release trend in the Telugu Film Industry is looking to extend further to some other yesteryear blockbusters. After the stupendous success of Pokiri, Okkadu, Jalsa, and Kushi, now NTR’s action entertainer Simhadri is gearing up for a re-release which is known news for all. Simhadri is all set to be released on the occasion of NTR’s birthday on May 20th.

Simhadri, like other recent re-releases, will hit the screens in 4K and fans have placed high expectations on the success of this event. Simhadri’s re-release is planned in a massive way and NTR fans are expecting to break Kushi’s re-release day 1 record as NTR films have traditionally had a strong record when it comes to special screenings.

The fans of NTR are making this event an exceptional one with their massive celebrations. For the first time ever, a pre-release event for a re-release movie is being planned. The official confirmation regarding the same was out recently. The Pre release event of Simhadri re-release will be held on 17th May at the JRC Conventions, Hyderabad from 6 PM onwards.

Released in 2003, Simhadri also featured Bhumika alongside the ‘Young Tiger’. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film went on to become a massive blockbuster and established NTR as one of the top stars in Tollywood. Bichagadu 2 Telugu states Pre release business and breakeven details

Vijay Antony is all set to present his new movie Bichagadu 2 – Anti Bikkili, which will be released on May 19th. The unit of the movie is doing good promotions in the Telugu States and being a sequel, it will definitely have a good craze. The first part, Bichagadu was released in 2016 Summer. Recently, a new song from the movie, Dumuki Chal was released.

Bichagadu is a massive blockbuster in the Telugu, and it had collected more numbers in Telugu than Tamil and for the sequel the movie is carrying decent buzz and the business is being done in 6 Crores ratio. So, now the film should collect around 7 Crores for breakeven in the Telugu version including P&P.

The trailer for the film that was released last week shows that the sequel is larger and much superior to the first part. The visuals are rich, and we get the impression that we are going to watch a big movie. The conflict point is also much bigger than that of the first part. The drama parts and the action sequences are also looked well mixed. The film is directed by Vijay Antony, who is also playing the male lead. Kavya Thapar is the female lead and there’s an ensemble cast as well.

It is very well known to everyone that SS Rajamouli and Prabhas’ Chatrapati movie which was released in 2005, has been remade by VV Vinayak with Bellamkonda Srinivas in the lead role and has received a disastrous response to say the least. The film has collected RS 45 Lakhs Net on its first day and the share is zero. This is a proof that the Bollywood audience has completely rejected the movie. With this result, Chatrapathi has taught a big lesson to the Tollywood Heroes who are in a delusion.

Many Heroes in the Telugu industry think that they are pan India stars by taking the YouTube views or dubbing rights of films as a parameter. But these Heroes should think logically that watching a movie at free of cost is different and the same audience coming to the theaters is altogether a different thing.

Chatrapathi film was made with a false perception as Hero Srinivas thought that he was very popular in Hindi markets, but the film miserably failed at the box office. Not only Srinivas but some other Heroes also think that they are pan-Indian Heroes and because of these false notions they are making each film as a pan-Indian film by putting big budgets and those movies are not even recovering print and publicity costs.

Tollywood Heroes should realize about their strength, and they should prefer the Telugu market first and if those movies have the capability to do revenue at pan India markets then they can release the movies in other languages. But they should not neglect the main Telugu market and should not overestimate about their stardom.

It is very well known to everyone that Director Venky Atluri scored a big hit this year with SIR/Vaathi, the Telugu Tamil Bilingual Film which was released in this February. After a successful film like that, it looks like Venky Atluri again is interested in directing Other Language Heroes only. According to the reports, he is not doing his next film with Telugu Hero and once again he has teamed up with the other language, but this time he is going to work with a Malayalam Hero, Dulquer Salman.

Dulquer is a Superstar in Malayalam, and he has tasted good success in Telugu as well, with films like Mahanati and Sita Ramam. Even his dubbed movie Kurup was also a good hit in Telugu. It is said that Venky Atluri recently narrated a script to Dulquer Salmaan and as per the latest buzz, the actor was so impressed with it.

Sithara Entertainments, who produced SIR, will bankroll this project according to the reports. Venky Atluri was known for making love stories, but this director showed he also has a sensibility to make a movie with a social message with SIR Movie. So now him working with Dulquer Salman will be for sure an interesting combination to watch out for.

Meanwhile, Dulquer Salman recently signed a straight Tamil film and if the news of his new film with Venky Atluri turns out to be true, it will be his straight third Telugu film. Dulquer’s upcoming film King of Kotha is getting ready for an August release.

Initially appearing to be suicides, a chain of homicides, one after the other, directs their investigation toward a pattern in the deaths of girls, raising the possibility that a serial murderer is on a spree. But what is the truth, and who, after all, triggered all this? Thus, begins a thrilling cat and mouse game that will keep you addicted.

Analysis: Created by Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar (who has co-written it with Ritesh Shah), the narration of this Web Series is very straightforward and also it reveals the killer’s identity in the very first episode. But the process of Police tracking down him and getting the required proof against him goes through many intriguing paths. The writing cleverly portrays the personal lives and problems of police officers. Because of that, the way they deal with their case gets influenced and coerces them to stick on to their instinct and determination, which makes us feel for their emotions. 

Moreover, Dahaad stays away from justifying the killer or giving him a sympathetic feel, despite following the regular trait of a criminal having a traumatized childhood. The social inequality and caste discrimination still existing in these times even for police officers is shown without much drama. However, the attempt of throwing in the religious tension in the first episodes did not get the desired effect.

Verdict: Dahaad stands out because of the sharp writing, natural performances, and it is an engaging watch if not for a few stretched episodes, some unnecessary moments, and a rushed Climax.

Official: Puri Jagannadh’s next film is finally confirmed

Finally, the official word on Puri Jagannadh’s next project has come out. As speculated, the director will be teaming up with Ram after a gap of 4 years for a fresh project. There’s no clarity on whether this is going to be a sequel to Ismart Shankar or a totally fresh concept.

Puri will be teaming up with Ram for his next project. Incidentally, Puri Jagannadh gave Ram a career-defining hit in the form of Ismart Shankar at a time when Ram faced consecutive failures. Now, with the duo teaming up again, expectations have risen. The film is expected to go on set by September/October this year.

Puri Jagannadh has taken a lot of time to get the project a green signal. He has convinced Ram with this story and the movie is confirmed. Ram is currently busy with Boyapati’s film which will be a pan-India release. Once his film with Boyapati is done, Ram and Puri will get started on this second film in their combo.

Looks like Ram has decided to work only on hardcore mass projects hereon. His next project is the pan India action entertainer with Boyapati Srinu with Sree Leela playing the lead. And now with Puri’s project, he is surely eyeing the image of a mass hero.
