The re-release trend in the Telugu Film Industry is looking to extend further to some other yesteryear blockbusters. After the stupendous success of Pokiri, Okkadu, Jalsa, and Kushi, now NTR’s action entertainer Simhadri is gearing up for a re-release which is known news for all. Simhadri is all set to be released on the occasion of NTR’s birthday on May 20th.
Simhadri, like other recent re-releases, will hit the screens in 4K and fans have placed high expectations on the success of this event. Simhadri’s re-release is planned in a massive way and NTR fans are expecting to break Kushi’s re-release day 1 record as NTR films have traditionally had a strong record when it comes to special screenings.
The fans of NTR are making this event an exceptional one with their massive celebrations. For the first time ever, a pre-release event for a re-release movie is being planned. The official confirmation regarding the same was out recently. The Pre release event of Simhadri re-release will be held on 17th May at the JRC Conventions, Hyderabad from 6 PM onwards.
Released in 2003, Simhadri also featured Bhumika alongside the ‘Young Tiger’. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film went on to become a massive blockbuster and established NTR as one of the top stars in Tollywood. Keeravani’s chart buster music, Rajamouli’s pacy and intense narration, and NTR’s roaring performance have made this film a classic in the action genre in Tollywood.
