Mahi V Raghav started his career as a producer but failed to gain the profits in production. He produced two films Village lo Vinayakudu and Kudiritey Cup Coffee, both ended as disasters. Later he decided to hold a megaphone and became director. He received attention with his debut directorial Paathshala though it failed commercially. Later, he directed a horror comedy film Anandobrahma which registered a keen success at the box-office, this film is also remade in Tamil, Kannada and Bengali.

Last year he came up with Yatra starring Malayalam senior actor Mammooty in the lead role. This story is based on the PadaYatra incidents of late Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy, a former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. This movie created a huge hype before it’s release but couldn’t fair well at the box-office.

Now, Stylish Star Allu Arjun joins hands with Mahi V Raghav for a political drama produced by PVP Cinema. The latest news is that the director narrated the story to Bunny and Bunny got impressed with it. This script is more based on true incidents taken place in the political history of Telugu states.

The buzz is that Allu Arjun will be seen in the Chief Minister’s role which resembles the looks and character of our present CM YS Jagan. The plot revolves around a journey of a young man to Chief Minister. Netizens started calling it as the sequel of Yatra which might be an unofficial biopic of Jagan. Time will answer all these rumours and gossips.

Allu Arjun is currently acting in a PAN Indian project Pushpa directed by Sukumar and the team is planning to resume their shooting in Andhra Pradesh forests as the Kerala government refused to permit the shooting in Kerala. He also announced Icon under Venu Sriram’s direction but it got delayed due to some reasons meanwhile Venu joins the crew of Vakeel Saab and directs Power Star Pawan Kalyan. However, the Bunny-Mahi project might hit the floor after the completion of Pushpa and Icon.

Gopichand Finally Locks Successful Director!

Gopichand has been struggling to deliver a commercial success since the release of Loukyam in 2015. Recently, he heard a story from Maruthi and found it to be very interesting and looking for final narration to give a nod.

Maruthi has created a new template which narrates a family story with a hilarious touch and the lead roles will have some sort of minor disorders. He gave a grand farewell to 2019 with a super hit film Prati Roju Pandage. After this, he has not announced his next project.

Maruthi is busy in making some required changes in the script and adding some more interesting and commercial elements before drafting the final script. Allu Aravind might fiance this project under his secondary production wing GA2 Pictures.

Gopichand is currently working for Seetimaarr directed by Racha fame Sampath Nandi starring Tamanna as a female lead. He also signed one more project with director Teja titled Alivelu Manga Venkata Ramana which will go on sets later this year.

Shocking News For Adult Content Viewers On OTT Platforms

OTT platforms are currently ruling the entertainment world as the theatres are temporarily shut down due to the outbreak of COVID-19. The viewership of digital content has been raising since the lockdown. The OTT streamers mainly target the youth and design their originals and web-series. A lot of bold content is available with filterless language which attracts the youth audience. Plenty of adult content is uploaded on OTT platforms which can’t be viewed with the family. Many projects have already been into the controversies.

Recently, the central commerce minister Piyush Goyal spoke regarding this issue and strongly objected the adult content available digitally. He also commented that it’s an insult to our Indian culture and damages the moral values of society. He asked the makers to maintain the balanced and healthy content which can be watched along with family.

Any movie before its theatrical release undergoes the censor certification and the censor board removes the weird scenes and dialogues. But OTT releases don’t require any censor certification. So, the content creators continued to release the original and uncensored content.

Now, the central government is thinking to put brakes to the misused freedom of OTT platforms. The government is planning to involve the censor board before the digital launch. But this may not be possible if we consider the volume of the content being made.

However, the audiences take the paid subscriptions to experience their favourite content and if the censor board comes to the picture a lot of customers might withdraw their subscriptions which results in gradual losses for the OTT platforms. Let’s wait for the government’s final decision over this.

Actor & Director Confirmed For Oh My Kadavule Telugu Remake!

Oh My Kadavule is a Tamil film which hit screens last February and declared as a hit at Kollywood box office and was applauded by critics. This new-age love drama featured Ashok Selvan and Rithika Singh in the lead roles and Vijay Sethupathi in a guest role directed by Ashwanth Marimuthu. A few days back Tollywood Superstar Star Mahesh Babu has applauded the team of Oh My Kadavule by sharing his views on his Twitter account.

The remake rights of this film were brought recently and Vishwak Sen who has given a kickass start to 2020 with Hit The First Case. This movie was released a few days before the lockdown and managed to pull the audience to the theatres. Later it was streamed on Amazon Prime Video and received a decent response as well.

Buzz is that Vishwak Sen will be seen as a lead actor in this remark and Tharun Bhascker is going to be a dialogue writer for this project. Vishwak Sen and Tharun Bhascker hint the same on their Instagram by sharing a meme in their story posted by a meme page. The meme portrays Vishwak as a male lead and Tharun as a dialogue writer, wondering who would be the other cast. As of now, the details of other cast and crew are still unknown and expected to be revealed soon. PVP Cinema might bankroll this project which is yet to be confirmed.

Vishwak Sen is busy with his current projects Pagal and the sequel of Hit. He was also approached for Telugu remake of Kapela. Vishwak Sen spoke on this and said that he was approached but he has not officially signed the project as it’s still in the discussion stage. He wished to start 2020 with the same vibes and planned the release of Solo Bathuke So Better this summer but that could not be possible due to the pandemic situation.

Alongside SBSB, Sai Dharam Tej also signed some other projects. He joined hands with Deva Katta for a political drama in North Indian backdrop. Earlier, Deva Katta delivered a remarkable movie Prasthanam in the same genre. So, with that experience, he comes up with a new age political script in which Sai Dharm Tej will be seen as an IAS officer. Nivetha Pethuraj is roped in as a female lead. The latest buzz is that Ramya Krisha was recently approached for a key role and she agreed too. This project will be bankrolled by Bhagwan and Pullarao. This will go on sets after the lockdown.

The latest update says Sai Dharam Tej signed two more projects with Dil Raju and Tagore Madhu. He will be teamed up with Majnu fame Virinchi Varma for a romantic drama produced by Dil Raju.

A debutant director Gopal narrated a story to Sai Dharam Tej in the presence of Mega Star Chiranjeevi. Both of them liked the script and Chiru suggested some script changes to the director. This is a crime-investigation thriller tentatively titled Bhagawadgeetha Saakshiga and will be financed by Tagore Madhu. An official confirmation is expected soon.

Action King Arjun’s daughter Aishwarya Arjun tested positive for COVID-19. She shared this news on her official Instagram account and said she is in home quarantine herself by taking all the necessary safety precautions. She is being treated by a professional medical team. She also requested all who were in close contact with her in the past few days to stay home and take care.

Arjun Sarja also confirmed saying that Aishwarya did not show any symptoms but underwent a test as recently his nephew Dhruv Sarja and his wife Prerana were tested corona positive and taking treatment in the hospital. Aishwarya who visited them was unfortunately infected with this deadly virus. Arjun hopes that his daughter will get well soon.

Aishwarya made her entry into the film industry with a Tamil movie Pattathu Yaanai and got recognition for her Madhu role in a Kannada movie Prema Baraha.

It is based on Archana Sarat’s novel of the same name. Earlier Sharath Kumar himself launched this novel and Archana expressed her gratitude towards him for taking it to the screen.

Sharath transformed into a new ultra-stylish look for this project. The plot revolves around a protest against child abuses and Sharath Kumar will be seen as a powerful ex-cop. His wife Radhika bankrolls this project under her home banner Radaan Media works. Aha bagged the streaming rights of this high budget project.
