After becoming a Sensational Blockbuster at the box office, Balagam movie continued to receive good appreciation on its OTT release, and now it achieved the same feat with its Television Premier. The movie’s satellite rights have been bought by Star MAA Channel and in its first screening Balagam movie has delivered a massive TRP of 14.3 which is a huge number for a small film.
Starring Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Kavya Kalyanram, Muralidhar Goud, Jayaram, Roopa and Kethiri Sudhakar Reddy in major roles, Balagam was released as a small film and became a huge blockbuster at the box office thanks to excellent response from the audience.
The other cast of the film includes Kommu Sujatha, Arusam Madhusudhan, Aasni Manaswini Gowd and more. The music for the film was composed by Bheems Ceciroleo and the cinematography was handled by Acharya Venu.
The film drew the audience into their nostalgia by remembering many incidents from childhood. The deep-rooted customs during the marriage and death were well conceived by the director Venu Yeldandi. The realistic portrayal of this slice-of-life drama strongly appealed to the viewers, and the result has been quite overwhelming, with the applause coming from all the corners. Which is why the film has delivered massive TRP ratings on its Television Premier.
Balagam is the story of Sayilu (Priyadarshi) a youngster who tries his hand at several business ventures but fails to succeed. He plans to get married for dowry and use that money for the business. But all hell breaks loose when his grandfather Komurayya dies; leading to the engagement cancellation. What Sayilu does next to bring two feuding families and what are his schemes is what the movie follows.
