Ravi Teja to compensate the losses of Ravanasura to buyers

Ravi Teja’s Ravanasura was one of the most eagerly anticipated Tollywood movies of 2023. The main reason behind this was Mass Maharaja’s unique characterization with grey shades and a long star cast that featured Fariah Abdullah, Sushant, Anu Emanuel, Poojita Ponnada, Megha Akash and Daksha Nagarkar among others.

Unfortunately, the film failed to impress the audience and apart from Ravi Teja’s smashing performance in a negative role, nothing else worked in this Sudheer Varma film. Ravi Teja himself co-produced this movie alongside Abhishek Nama’s Abhishek Pictures. 

Ravi Teja believed so much in Ravanasura and he was one of the producers for this film under his banner RT Frameworks. The film did not perform up to his high expectations and brought big losses to buyers. He has now decided to compensate the buyers for these losses to a certain extent.

The theatrical rights of this film were valued at Rs 22 crs and the film has only managed to collect a share of Rs 11.95 crs. After a great start to the year with Dhamaka which ran to great occupancies till Sankranti and Waltair Veerayya which emerged as the Sankranti blockbuster, Ravanasura put a break to Mass Maharaja’s winning streak. Now all eyes are on his next release of this year- Tiger Nageswara Rao.

The centenary celebrations of SR NTR were held on May 20, 2023, at the Kaithalapur Grounds in Kukatpally, Hyderabad. Nandamuri Balakrishna took care of the event. The party member’s of TDP had met with NTR and invited him to attend the ceremony. But NTR was not present at the event, which has become the reason for the misunderstanding between the fans and many rumors and a fan war is now going on between Balayya and NTR fans on social media.

Balakrishna fans are criticizing NTR because despite the invitation, he did not attend the event. The same day was NTR’s 100 years celebrations. This has become the reason for the clash between Balakrishna and NTR fans. Balakrishna fans are not happy with NTR’s behavior and started saying that he has become a star hero only because of Sr NTR and Balakrishna and without them, he is nothing. They are saying that NTR should give respect to the important family events like these.

On the other hand, NTR fans replying to Balayya fans that JR NTR is now continuing the Sr NTR’s legacy as Balakrishna gave many flops in the past 20 years and if NTR would have not been there the legacy of Nandamuri family would have perished, and they had become like Akkineni or Daggubati family without a star hero.

Also, the fans of NTR are fed up with the family and political issues. They are stating that if NTR says something about family, or he responds to any political issue then all the Balakrishna fans and Telugu Desam Party members will criticize and use foul language, and if NTR does not respond to any issue and stays neutral then they say that he does not have courage or responsibility.

Both section of fans, be it Nandamuri Balakrishna or Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao JR have their own versions of stories to.l support their arguments and nobody knows when will these fan wars stop and the difference between Balakrishna and NTR reduces.

This is a project which needs two actresses and Krithi Shetty in talks for this film. While Custody might have failed at the box office, Krithi Shetty was impressed with her acting skills.

The film with Vijay is going to be an extremely crucial one for Venkat Prabhu as well as Krithi Shetty. Yuvan Shankar Raja will be composing music for this project bankrolled by AGS Entertainment (the makers of Bigil). If the inside reports are anything to be believed, actress Nayanthara is all set to enter the business of theaters. Nayanthara, who had a remarkable career as an actress, is now also trying to get success in the business world. Known for her exceptional performances in films, Nayanthara has now entered the film business by purchasing an old property in Chennai, India.

With her husband, Vignesh Shivan, Nayanthara acquired the former Agasthiya theaters in north Chennai to their production company, Rowdy Pictures. The Agastya Theatre, previously owned by the Devi Theatre Group, had been operating since 1967 and had showcased the films of legendary Tamil actors such as MGR, Sivaji Ganesan, Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Ajith Kumar, and Thalapathy Vijay. Unfortunately, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the theater had to close its doors in 2020, having served the public for 53 years.

According to the reports, it is said that Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are planning to renovate the theater and transform it into a two-screen facility, with a total capacity of over 1,000. This initiative aims to revive the theater culture and provide a better visual experience for the audience.

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan also run a successful production house that has produced remarkable films like Koozhangal, Netrikann and Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal. Their production company, which was established in 2021, reportedly has a net worth of more than Rs 50 crore. Now with entering into the theaters business, they can expand their wealth and use the same for creating more interesting content.

Actress Nayanthara recently appeared in the Tamil film connect. Her fan’s admirers eagerly await to see her with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in Atlee’s upcoming Hindi film, Jawaan, scheduled for September 7. Moreover, she will further appear in Lady Superstar 75 and The Test, marking her first collaboration with actor R. Madhavan.

The teaser as well as the trailer of the movie got a positive response. Sameer Reddy handled the cinematography, while Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor. Anil Achugatla has penned the dialogues and Supriya is the art director.

Besides Abhiram, the film has Geethika, Rajat Bedi, Sadha, Ravi Kale, Kamal Kamaraju, Manoj Tiger, Kalpalatha, Devi Prasad and others in crucial roles.

Directed by Raj & DK, the show will run parallel to the American series ‘Citadel’, starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden. Though there is no official confirmation on this news, it is being reported that Samantha has agreed to do multiple lip lock and intimate scenes as the script demands them.

Samantha in an earlier social media session clarified that the Indian chapter of Citadel is not a rehash of Priyanka’s International version. They are two different universes that might bump into each other at the end, according to the reports.

A fan questioned Samantha, “Are the stories of your Citadel and Priyanka’s Citadel the same? Why do I want to know if Priyanka is dubbed in every Indian tongue? Therefore, many people would have already seen it if you were to adopt the same tale for Indian viewers. I’m a little perplexed. Can you explain if it is the same or different?”

Samantha clarified to her fan’s question by saying Citadel India is an original and not a remake. However, after that announcement the proceedings of this movie have been slowed down, but the film’s team now is all set to do massive promotions. Also, it is being reported that the director of the movie, Trivikram is making a mistake regarding the promotional content of SSMB28.

If we go into the past, Mahesh Babu and Trivikram’s last film Khaleja was affected because of the wrong promotional content. The main complaint for the Khaleja at that time was setting the different kind of expectations on the film before the release. The Title Teaser and other promotional content had given the audience a hint of a high action film vibes, and they expected the same.

However, after the release the content in Khaleja was on another side as it had full of comedy which made the audience get disconnected from the film. As a result, Khaleja became a big failure in the theaters. Only after being telecasted on TV, a section of the audience consider it as a good film, but it is no use if a movie fails at a box office and gets some appreciation on the Television.

Now, according to the reports, Trivikram is doing the same kind of mistake with SSMB28 as well. For SSMB28 he released a mass poster as the first look and the rumored title of the film, Guntur Karam is said to be almost finalized and the glimpse which is being planned to release on the Superstar Krishna’s birth anniversary, is said to be a mass feast to audience. Now If the movie is a full-length mass movie then these kind of promotion will be helpful, but if it is a regular Trivikram mark family entertainer then definitely wrong promotions might have an effect on the film’s result.
