Boyapati Srinu and Ram Pothineni have tied up for Skanda which is going to mark the pan-India debut for both director and actor. For a movie to be a pan-India success, its performance in the Hindi market is of paramount importance. And now, the big question is if Ram and Boyapati Srinu, who are making their Hindi debuts have enough to pull the crowds to theatres.

One factor working to the duo’s advantage is that mass movies are working well in Hindi. we have witnessed it with the success of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa and more recently with Sunny Deol’s Gadar. Normally, Boyapati’s dubbed movies in Hindi do a decent job in terms of satellite rights. This time for a change, Skanda is releasing in theatres in Hindi as well.

We need to see how audiences connect to his work and how well his brand works in theatres. The Hindi rights for Skanda fetched a record deal of Rs 35Cr which includes Hindi satellite, Digital, and also theatrical rights. Even if the film does Rs 15Cr – 20Cr in Hindi theatrically that would be a big achievement for the team.

Srinivasaa Chitturi is producing this ambitious project under Srinivasaa Silver Screen. Sreeleela has been paired opposite Ram in Skanda.

He went on to say that he will kiss his daughter in the same manner.

Massive 150Cr business for Ram – Boyapati’s Skanda

Ram Pothineni and Boyapati Srinu’s Skanda is all set to be released in another two weeks on worldwide screens. Because of the combination of actor – director and a well put trailer, the film has a good craze in trade circles, and it has done a massive business of 150 CR, which includes theatrical and non-theatrical rights.

Skanda movie’s Satellite and Digital rights have been bought by Star group for 54Cr [Al South Indian languages]. The Telugu Satellite rights have been bought by Star Maa and the Digital rights are with Disney+Hot star platform. The theatrical rights are valued at 60Cr and the Hindi version’s satellite rights will be around 35Cr. So overall, the total business of Skanda is around 150Cr which is a massive number.

The recently released trailer of Skanda has Boyapati’s style action, Ram’s impressive makeover and his commanding screen presence came positive, especially the final shots of the video were a treat for fans of mass entertainment.

Santosh Detake cranks the camera for the film, produced in a prestigious manner by Srinivasaa Chitturi on a massive budget with high production values and top-notch technical standards under Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner. It is presented by ZEE Studios South and Pavan Kumar. Editing is handled by Tammiraju. S Thaman scored the music for the movie.

Skanda is getting ready for release worldwide on September 15th in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.

In ‘Manmadhudu’, Nagarjuna played the role of Abhi, the CEO of an ad agency, and entertained the audience in a role that does not like girls for some reason. The film also stars Sonali Bendre and Anshu In the lead roles. Brahmanandam, Sunil, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam and other popular comedians have entertained in the film and the comedy scenes from the film are still evergreen. Devi Sri Prasad has given a chart buster album, which played a key role in the success of the film.

Trivikram Srinivas has penned the story and dialogues for the film, while K Vijaya Bhaskar has penned the screenplay and directed the film. Manmadhudu came out as a beautiful entertain and created wonders at the box office with well blended fun and emotions and became super successful.

Raj and DK had prepared the script of The Family Man to make it as a feature film with Chiranjeevi. Producer Ashwini Dutt also liked the subject very much and narrated it to Chiranjeevi. Chiru, who had given comeback with a commercial film like Khaidi No 150, liked the story, but doubted that whether the audience would accept him as the father of two children. Raj and DK were ready to make some modifications to avoid him showing as a father of two children. Somehow, Chiranjeevi was skeptical about it and the project did not work out.

PVR Cinemas, the leading multiplex chain in India, is trying its best to attract the maximum number of audiences into the theaters with its new offers. After making a few changes in the Food and Beverage rates recently, the PVR Cinemas, now known as PVR Inox Pictures has given a new weekday pass where the public can watch 10 movies for RS 600 in a month.

However, the offer has a condition, as it is a weekday pass, it is available only on weekdays such as. Monday to Thursday. The recent success of Bollywood films Gadar 2, OMG 2 and Jailer from South India has helped the multiplex footfalls see a raise. Now, this new weekday offer would certainly bring more audiences to the theaters.

Recently, PVR has acted in the rates of F&B in response to a journalist’s complaint who was very much concerned about the exorbitant costs of snacks and beverages offered at the multiplex.

Moviegoers have long been concerned about the high costs of these food items for a longtime, which impacts their ability to enjoy their movie experience fully. The public has shown their appreciation for PVR’s decision to address this issue.

Pan-Indian star Prabhas and Nag Ashwin’s biggest film, Project K, is the most awaited film for the fans. The film Kalki 2898 AD will be entirely based on the concept of an extreme past and an extreme future. Dwaapara Yuga will be the focal point of the extreme past in the film, and the extreme future will mean the end of Kali Yuga. According to the mythology, at the end of KaliYuga the bad will rise over the good and no one believes in the God and at that time, Lord Vishnu will come to the earth as Kalki Avatar.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD stars Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and Amitabh Bachchan in major roles. The movie became the first Indian film to appear at San Diego Comic-Con and captivated the audience with its spellbinding visuals and unique concept in network first glimpse, making it the first Indian film to exhibit there. Allu Arjun, who won the National Film Award, opened the doors to his home for an Instagram crew and captured an intriguing video which is a first of its kind for the platform. Allu Arjun who lives and works in Hyderabad, gave the camera crew a tour of his home and also the Ramoji Film City, where his upcoming movie Pushpa 2: The Rule is being shot.

Allu Arjun enters his home and displays his many trophies, office space, and more as the video begins.“Hi Instagram, namaste. Today I will take you to the sets of Pushpa 2: The Rule, but before that, I will take you to my home where I start my chill morning.” The video then shows Allu strolling in a lush garden, meditating on a sofa and showing off his pool. After a cup of coffee, he heads to Ramoji Film City. On his way there, he calls up his family and his two kids answer it.

As they make their way to the stage, hundreds of fans are already waiting for the actor. He spends some time interacting with them and then heads to his vanity van to get ready for the shoot. He gathers his costume for the day, his woodcutter’s axe, and stoops down in the makeup chair.
