Pan-Indian star Prabhas and Nag Ashwin’s biggest film, Project K, is the most awaited film for the fans. The recently released glimpse of the film has received great praise and everyone is eagerly waiting for it to be released. Moreover, the inside reports suggesting the cameos from Dulquer Salmaan and SS Rajamouli have raised the anticipation to further level. The film’s release date was supposed to be changed, but it looks like the makers remain committed to their Sankranthi release plan.

The makers of Kalki 2898 AD, which was initially publicized as Project K had announced that the film will have a grand global release on January 12, 2024. However, because of the film’s genre and casting, everyone thought that it was certain for the film to get postponed. However, the producer of the film, Ashwini Dutt stated that they are still eyeing the Sankranthi season.

In the latest interview, Ashwini Dutt was asked whether the film, Project K will be able to make it to Sankranthi 2024 or not. The renowned producer said that it is almost on course for the Sankranthi release, but he also stated that it depends on the graphics work as the companies that are working on the film’s VFX are yet to give the final output.

The film Kalki 2898 AD will be entirely based on the concept of an extreme past and an extreme future. Dwaapara Yuga will be the focal point of the extreme past in the film, and the extreme future will mean the end of Kali Yuga. According to the mythology, at the end of KaliYuga the bad will rise over the good and no one believes in the God and at that time, Lord Vishnu will come to the earth as Kalki Avatar.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD stars Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and Amitabh Bachchan in major roles. The movie became the first Indian film to appear at San Diego Comic-Con and captivated the audience with its spellbinding visuals and unique concept in network first glimpse, making it the first Indian film to exhibit there. The first glimpse of the movie made the fans more excited about the movie.
