The piracy has emerged as the biggest problem for Tamil movies. Normally, the Tamil movies will be leaking online before the OTT release, but for Jailer, which is running with good numbers at the box office, is a shocking thing. The HD version of the film is leaked online, which is very disappointing news for the makers and even digital partners as the audiences will watch this leaked version because it is freely available for them.
Meanwhile, recently, Jailer has reached another milestone by surpassing the Tamil Nadu collections of last year’s Kamal Haasan’s blockbuster Vikram. Also, it is on the way to create an epic record for Tamil Cinema.
Jailer Tamil version has collected more than 475Cr until now and the trade is expecting it to join the magical 500Cr club in its full run and if it does, this will be the 1st ever film to collect more than 500Cr gross in the Tamil version, which is a sensational record.
Jailer, the film tells us the story of a retired Jailer who hunts down on a big criminal gang who kidnapped and supposedly killed his son, who is a police officer. He takes the help of his old friends and contacts in this process.
