SS Rajamouli’s action epic RRR starring Ram Charan and NTR has collected 3.2M$ in the USA and 270K$ in Canada and a total 3.47M$ from premiers in North America. Salaar’s USA pre-sales now 500K$ and looking at the trend, the film looks for sure to have a 2.5 Million dollar premiere and if the trailer of the film works big then the film will challenge RRR records for sure.

The US premieres are expected to be gigantic with early trends indicating a record multi-million dollar opening. The makers are quoting a record price of 200 Crores for the Telugu States rights and as of now, the talks are going on with a few noted distributors and top production houses as well. The makers of Salaar, Hombale Films normally release their films on their own but this time they want to sell the film for bigger prices and grab the profits.

While this is the case elsewhere, Ceeded business gave some interesting insights. Reportedly, makers quoted 35Cr for Ceeded rights and they expected the offers would come pouring in for at least 30Cr+. But it turns out the buyers are not interested in buying the film at bigger costs due to several recent failures. Raghava Lawrence is currently busy as a lead hero. Today, an official statement regarding the donations to his trust was made by Lawrence. He said no one should send donations to his trust. Lawrence recently released a video on the reason for saying so. He said in it… “A few days ago, I posted a tweet requesting that no one should send money to my trust, I will take care of my children myself. The reason is that when I was a dance master, I started a trust. I have organized activities like raising 60 children, teaching dance to differently abled people and performing open-heart surgeries. I could not do all these things alone. That’s why I asked for help from others.

Back then, I used to do a film for two years. But now I am doing three films a year. I thought I was getting a lot of money, I could do it myself, why should I ask others? I am not going to refuse the money that others give for service out of arrogance. There are plenty of trusts that work hard without money near you to get the money I am given. Help such people. It will be of great help to them. Not many people will help them. No matter how much I say, some say they will help me. I am happy. I will tell you who is suffering from financial difficulties. Help yourself. It will be of great help to you,” Lawrence said.

Subhaskaran of Lyca Productions announced a donation of Rs 1 crore to the trust run by Lawrence at the audio launch event of his upcoming film’Chandramukhi 2′. Along with this money, he also said that he would take some money and buy a plot of land and build a building in the name of Subhaskaran’s mother.

Lawrence claimed that his students practice dance in the building. Raghava Lawrence’s ‘Chandramukhi 2’ is slated to be released on September 15. It is a sequel to Rajinikanth starrer ‘Chandramukhi’. P. Vasu is directing the film. Kangana Ranaut will be seen in the role of Chandramukhi.

Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming action entertainer Jawan is all set to be released in worldwide theaters in another week, and the unit has pumped up the promotions of the film. The film had launched three songs of it and today the team arranged a pre-release event for the film in Chennai. SRK gave a shock to his countless fans by dancing on the stage along with Anirudh Ravichander.

Shah Rukh Khan’s dancing to Jawan’s song ‘Zinda Banda’ has caused a frenzy among his fans as they shared the unofficial video on Twitter. Along with music director Anirudh Ravichander, SRK attended the first-ever public event for his upcoming movie Jawan. At the pre-release event of Jawan at Sri Sairam Engineering College in Chennai, SRK was joined by director Atlee and co-star Vijay Sethupathi.

Jawan, also starring Nayanthara, is slated to be released on September 7. SRK will visit Dubai for the release of the film’s trailer on August 31. The trailer will be displayed on the iconic Burj Khalifa.

Normally, Pawan Kalyan’s re-releases open with very great celebrations and big numbers. Even for Gudumba Shankar, this was expected, but sadly the film failed to reach the expectations. The film’s re-release date was first announced as August 31St, then it was moved to September 2nd, and again it got advanced to August 31St.

If we look at the Hyderabad City advance bookings of Gudumba Shankar for tomorrow, the gross is around 4 lakhs with just a total shows of 10 and the occupancy is 39% which is an utterly disappointing. It is very shocking to see this kind of advance bookings and release for a Pawan Kalyan’s re-release and which is planned by an official team with Nagababu as head.

Not only in Hyderabad but everywhere the position is same, which is shocking as it looks like even fans are also not interested in watching the film tomorrow and the other audiences are not even having 0% no interest in this. Maybe the team should have selected some other film like Gabbar Singh or Attarintiki Daredi then this kind of utterly disappointing advance bookings would have not been registered.
