Lady superstar Nayanthara makes her Instagram debut

Surprisingly, actress Nayanthara, affectionately nicknamed Lady Superstar by her fans, made her debut on Instagram. Nayanthara, who has a tendency to avoid social media and public appearances like the plague, seems to have had a change of heart. Shortly before her upcoming film Jawan’s trailer was supposed to land, her Instagram debut took place.

A video of her carrying her sons Uyir and Ulagam and striking a stylish pose was shared by the actress as her first post on Instagram. The trio were seen dressed in white and were sporting sunglasses. She captioned the post, “Naan vandhutaen nu sollu… (Tell them I have arrived).”

Nayanthara chose to play the latest super hit song, Hukum from Superstar Rajinikanth’s latest blockbuster, Jailer in the background to compliment her swag, and the twins looked adorable in coolers.

Nayanthara is making her debut in the Hindi film industry with Jawan the film which features none other than Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. The actress, meanwhile, was not present at a pre-release event that took place on Wednesday in Chennai.

Jawan is a Red Chillies Entertainment presentation directed by Atlee, produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. Along with SRK, it also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupati in key roles. The film will be released in theaters worldwide on September 7th in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.

Prabhas’ Salaar Telugu states Theatrical business details

Prabhas’ Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel is less than a month away from its theatrical release. The anticipation is at an all-time high with both fans and trade circles setting extremely high expectations on Prabhas to make a massive comeback with this project.

The Telugu states’ theatrical business has been closed and here are the details. For Nizam, makers quoted 75Cr, 35Cr for Ceeded, and Rs 100Cr for Andhra. Homable Films expected a Rs 200Cr range business from Telugu states but the buyers are not ready to give those bigger amounts and now the business is closing at comparatively lower prices than quoted. Ceeded closed for 25Cr and for Andhra also, the ratio is now changed to Rs 75Cr – 80Cr. The Nizam region is in discussions for around 60Cr. This brings the total Telugu states business in the range of 160Cr – 165Cr now.

Prabhas’ Salaar is one of the most anticipated movies of this year and the promotions of this Prashanth Neel film is expected to start in a couple of weeks. The film stars Shruti Haasan, Jagapathy Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Easwari Rao in key roles. 

It will hit the screens worldwide on 28th September. The movie takes place in a Mafia-dominated world of organized crime. Prabhas, as Salaar is a man on a mission to fulfill a promise made to his dying friend. As expected the movie will be high on action and the recent reports suggest that some of the fights in the movie are shot on a scale never even imagined in Indian cinema.

Vijay Devarakonda is one who has the best pull in Tier 2 Heroes. All his films get super openings at the box office. His recent failure, Liger also got record opening in Tier 2 Heroes even with outright disaster talk now the same is happening with his upcoming film Kushi. The advance bookings of the film have been trending on a strong note despite weak promotions.

The trade is expecting a huge opening for the film. After that, if the word of mouth comes positive on the day 1, then definitely the film will have a massive weekend at the box office. The theatrical rights of Kushi are valued at around 52Cr and as said above, if the talk is positive then Vijay Devarakonda can easily pull this business.

Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers, the film also has Murali Sharma, Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Saranya Pradeep, and Vennela Kishore in crucial roles. Hesham Abdul Wahab, who has scored the music for the Malayalam film Hrudayam is composing the tunes for the film.

Kushi is scheduled to be released in theaters on September 1 in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan trailer was released on Thursday among massive expectations, and it lands as a quite disappointing one. A day after a grand pre-release event in Chennai that saw members of the film’s cast and crew unite before the countless fans get the chance to watch the trailer of the film. Jawan portrays Shah Rukh in various avatars, and mixes elements of vigilante thrillers and masala entertainers.

As said above, there have been huge expectations on this trailer before it was released, but the trailer cut is not good and is a disappointing work from team. Even Anirudh’s BGM does not seem good and nothing exciting overall.

Bandla Ganesh: NTR’s 100 rupees coins launch is only for political benefits

As a part of NTR’s birth centenary. Earlier this week, the President of India, Draupadi Murmu launched the commemorative Rs100 coins featuring NTR. The grand event was held in Delhi and was attended by almost the entire family of the late actor. Chandrababu Naidu, Balakrishna, and Daggubati Purandeshwari were some of the key invitees to the event.

One side of the coin features three lions and the Ashoka Chakra, while the other side has NTR’s picture with the wording ‘Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Satajayanti’ engraved, in Hindi, below it. The coin is marked with the years 1923-2023 to signify NTR’s centenary celebrations.

While the mad rush for these coins has already started at Saifabad Mint and through various online channels, producer Bandla Ganesh’s comments have sparked some controversy.

The producer took to social media and posted his thoughts on the entire development and claimed that this was a political stunt made with upcoming elections in mind. In a long post, Ganesh said that Anyone can order a set of commemorative coins and get them produced in three mints present in Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Kolkata. The only criterion is that these coins have to be ordered in bulk and Daggubati Purandeswari placed an order of 14,00 such coins.

He further claimed that Only party supporters and workers are the ones buying these coins by spending huge amounts. There is no need to get excited about such a development. If anyone is interested they can spend Rs 3,000 and purchase a Rs 100 coin that’s not even valid currency.

Hero Venu’s Athidhi web series OTT streaming date is out

Hero Venu is making his entry into the OTT zone. He is doing a web series for the first time. The web series, which is based on the horror genre, has been titled ‘Athidhi’. The web series will start streaming on Disney Plus Hot star from September 19. The teaser of the web series was released on Wednesday. The horror series is set against the backdrop of an ancient building. In the teaser, a young woman is seen entering the building in the rain and asking if she can stay here at night.

The teaser of Athidhi was interesting with having horror, romance, and suspense elements. As said above, the web series stars Venu Thottempudi along with Avantika Mishra in the lead roles. The makers have not revealed who is the director of this series. It is reported that details of other actors and technicians will be revealed soon.

Venu had received good success as a hero with comedy movies like Swayamvaram, Hanuman Junction and Pellam Oorelithe. Once upon a time, he was a bankable star with continuous hits. After that, he faced a series of flops and after taking a gap for a few years, he appeared in key roles in films like Dhammu and Chintakayala Ravi.

After that, Venu once again took a long break from films after Ramachari which was released in 2013, made a comeback last year with Ravi Teja’s Ramarao On Duty, which failed at the box office. Venu played the role of a police officer with negative shades in the film.

A question was about what genre, Mythri Movie Makers would choose for their third film with Vijay Deverakonda after films like Dear Comrade and Kushi. Mythri Ravi Shankar said they are trying to make a movie with Vijay Deverakonda and Sandeep Reddy Vanga. According to the producer, if a film is made in their combo, it will be on a different level altogether.

He added that it would certainly not be a soft kind of film. However, it is just an idea currently and it will take much more time for this project to materialize.

As of now, Vijay Deverakonda is occupied with films by Gowtam Tinnanuri and Parasuram after Kushi. In addition, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is also now busy with Animal, and after Ranbir’s starrer, he will work on Prabhas’ Spirit and Allu Arjun as well.
