Although the film had carried less hype because of the Director’s name, the trade and the audiences expected the film to at least get some decent numbers at the box office during the Independence weekend. However, the film faced an outright rejection from all over the world.
Now the film, Bhola Shankar is getting zero shares, which is a shocking thing for a star hero like Chiranjeevi. Even the National holiday like August 15th could not help the film get some good numbers at the box office.
On the 6th day, the film has been completely crashed and most of the theaters have gone for deficits which means the film will get absolutely zero shares from all the territories. The movie finishes its run at the box office with 26Cr share worldwide. It is a never before disaster for Chiranjeevi in. his career. Collecting a zero share on the 6th day itself is a truly unimaginable for a star hero movie.
Bhola Shankar’s Telugu states rights are valued at Rs 76Cr approx and the movie completely crashed now with collecting zero shares in each territory. August 15th will be the last day for the film and if we consider only share from the Telugu states it is not even 20Cr. The makers have incurred around 60Cr loss including P&P in just Telugu states, which has never happened in the Telugu cinema history.
