Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal has created a box-office storm and has consistently performed well across territories since its release. The film did well last weekend despite the new releases of Dunki and Salaar.

Animal managed to collect Rs 5Cr net in India for the weekend. Total India’s net collection is now 538Cr; the gross is Rs 650Cr while the overseas gross is 230Cr. The total worldwide gross now stands at Rs 880 crores.

The movie is doing well today and it needs to run 2 more weeks to join the 900Cr club. The movie might just miss the mark with a slight margin and either way, this has been a sensational run by this Ranbir Kapoor starrer. Coming to Animal’s box office performance, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s brother Pranay, who’s also the film’s co-producer revealed that the film has done around 870 crores worldwide business so far. While speaking about the film’s collections, Pranay revealed that Animal would have crossed 1000 crores by now, had they followed the Bollywood trend of corporate booking.

He clarified that Bollywood biggies have a habit of indulging in heavy corporate bookings hence the massive collections.
