The industry is abuzz with reports that Atlee will be teaming up with Allu Arjun on a massive action entertainer after directing stars like Thalapathy Vijay and Shah Rukh Khan. The reports gained even more momentum when Allu Arjun watched at Atlee’s newly released Jawan and congratulated him on social media.
According to industry circles, Atlee and Allu Arjun have been in conversation about a feature film for the last few years; however, there has been no official word on the same from both of them. Atlee opened up about his plans to team up with Allu Arjun, and he also confirmed that talks with Salman Khan as well.
He mentioned that Allu Arjun is a good friend and they both share a passion for each other’s work. Atlee stated that it is a certainty that they have a notion of what to do and how to do it. “The right script is crucial for bringing a film together with God’s blessings. We have an idea and now, let’s wait for god’s blessings.” said Atlee and he is in no hurry presently to start work on his next film. “I have given my next call sheet to my child – Meer. For the next four months, I will be with him, and then I will decide on what to do next.”
Currently, Atlee is making his debut as a producer with VD 18 that features Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles. The action entertainer is produced by Atlee, his wife Priya along with Murad Khetani. Atlee also confirmed that he has had a conversation about an idea with some top Hindi Film Stars too.
“Salman sir and I had a discussion. A long time ago, I also had a discussion with Hrithik sir. I have talked about a film with Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh as well. I am also having a conversation with Vijay sir and Allu sir. As movie lovers, we come with love and engage in discussions. Currently, we are all in sync and aligned with an idea. All that’s needed is a good script. Once god’s blessing comes, we will crack that too”
