During a conversation with a Bollywood trade analyst, Vanga said he is currently working on the OTT adaptation of ‘Animal’ and expressed dissatisfaction with certain aspects of the film he intends to rectify for the OTT release.

He shared his thoughts on watching the movie starring Ranbir Kapoor for the first time, candidly sharing his observations and revealing that he faced several challenges. He noticed differences in the song, makeup, and costumes in certain scenes. Animal OTT version features extended runtime.
In response to content concerns, he mentioned that the sound quality could have improved, citing the task of managing five different language releases. He recalled the hectic last 20 days of the project, mentioning the struggle with sound checks in Chennai and expressing regret over his inability to stay longer to resolve these challenges.
He is currently engaged in the editing and stated that some problems in 1-2 shots caused him to integrate different shots and a few additional ones from the same take. When pondering the first editing decision, he regretted reducing the runtime from 3 hours and 30 minutes to 3 hours and 21 minutes, citing doubt about why the 8-9 minutes were taken out. He has confirmed that he will restore the unseen footage in the revised version.
