Tamil Actor Dhanush has been struck in a controversy again. He became popular when he was involved in a controversy started by Tamil Singer, Suchitra. She alleged some of the Tamil Industry people resorting to unethical means. The singer also alleged both Dhanush and Tamil music Director Anirudh sexually harassing her. But she became quiet for some time and resurfaced now again. She made a sensational claim saying Dhanush was gay.

Dhanush recently had divorce with his wife Aishwarya, daughter of Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth. Many were shocked to see the couple falling apart after nearly 18 years of marriage. They even felt that the above-said controversy could have become an issue between the couple. But the couple refrained from saying anything about the divorce. Now Suchitra claimed that the couple cheated on each other which also became a sensation.

Dhanush is maintaining a strategic silence regarding this whole controversy. It’s better if Dhanush comes forward and responds to Suchitra’s allegations rather than staying silent. It also sends a wrong message to his fans and audiences as well. Dhanush maintained silence during the #Suchileaks incident as well. But the situation is totally out of hands now and he should set things right for his good.

Vibhu Agarwal, founder and CEO of Ullu, a video streaming platform primarily known for adult content, has launched a mythological OTT service called Hari Om, set to launch in June 2024 that will host only ‘U’ rated content, or programming that is suitable for all age groups.

Hari Om is a destination for experiencing Indian heritage and religious content and with increasing global interest amongst younger audiences towards such themes, will delve into stories of Indian culture, and spirituality, the company said in a statement. 

Hari Om, showcasing cultural and religious content, will launch in June 2024 with a line-up of more than 20 mythological shows.

As Indians, it is essential for us to know our roots, culture, tradition, and heritage to develop a sense of pride and respect for it. Recognizing the demand among senior citizens and younger audiences to explore Indian mythology, Hari Om is designed for family audiences worldwide,” Agarwal said in a statement.

Pushpa 2: Second single set for release

Icon Star Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 is all set to release on August 15th. The film has managed to create solid hype thanks to its first single and now, the makers are getting ready to drop the second single. As per reports, the second single is a romantic number.

In the first movie, Srivalli song became a major hit and this second song from Pushpa 2 is also said to be on the same level. The second single will be released this month’s end and the film despite racing against the time will release on 15th August as planned.

Allu Arjun has already ignited the fan’s curiosity about the film with his recent statements about the film.

Pushpa2 is going to have a very different shade of Pushpa Raj than what you’ve seen in Pushpa because it’s the lower end of the spectrum that you’ve seen,” he said recently.

“In Pushpa The Rule you’ll see the highest end of the spectrum in terms of characterization. In terms of scale and presentation & the canvas of problems is going to be much bigger,” he added.

Indian 2 and Indian 3 Trailers are ready

Shankar’s directorial Indian 2, the sequel to yesteryear blockbuster Indian has managed to evoke great buzz and anticipation from fans ever since its announcement. The film stars Kamal Haasan in the lead role with Kajal Aggarwal playing the female lead. Siddarth also plays a pivotal role in the film. 

The film’s shoot has taken quite a long time to near completion and has seen multiple delays and legal hassles. Initially planned just as Indian 2, the shooting footage is estimated to be around 6 hours. The makers, hence decided to release Indian 3 as well.

Both the trailer cuts for Indian 2 and Indian 3 are ready and the Indian 2 trailer will be released in a grand event next month. The makers are planning to release the movie on July 12th. Indian 3 trailer will be playing at the end of Indian 2 in theatres.

The film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. This would mark his debut collaboration with Shankar. Glimpse of the film was also released and many praised Anirudh for his Background score as well. Now, Fans can’t wait for the team to release the first lyrical song from the film.

Shankar’s Anniyan (2005) is a psychological thriller film starring Vikram and Sadha in lead roles. One of the most expensive Indian films at the time, the film was a cultural phenomenon upon release. A Telugu-dubbed version titled ‘Aparichithudu’ was released and performed exceedingly well.

Besides its commercial success, the film earned a strong fan following for Vikram in Telugu states. Even on Televison, Aparichithudu has achieved incredible ratings since then. All of this is now relevant because this action drama is now heading for a grand re-release in Telugu on May 17, 2024 (Friday).

This is a jackpot for the distributors since there are no notable releases in Telugu and audiences haven’t come to theatres for months due to IPL and election fever. It must be seen how this Harris Jayaraj musical will fare at the ticket window. Despite having a Hindi-dubbed version, Shankar is adapting this flick in Hindi, with Ranveer Singh replacing Vikram.

Double Imsart Teaser: Ismart Shankar 2.0

Double Ismart teaser is out and it promises to double the scale and action from Ismart Shankar. The markers released this teaser on the occasion of Ram Pothineni’s birthday. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the movie will witness the clash between Ram Pothineni and Sanjay Dutt.

The film has been produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur, with Sam K Naidu and Gianni Gianneli handling the cinematography. Music, which was one of the biggest strengths of the prequel and is being handled by Mani Sharma. Kavya Thapar plays the female lead in the film.

The teaser featured Ram in trademark Shankar mannerisms. He is loud, over the top, and has a habit of getting into fights when he comes across a gangster (Sanjay Dutt) who introduces himself as a big bull. Just like Ismart Shankar, this film will also have large influence of Lord Shiva

Take Puri Jagannadh for example. The maverick director has been planning his dream project ‘Jana Gana Mana’ for several years now. An official announcement also happened regarding this but did not materialize. After Mahesh Babu, the script was offered to Venkatesh and some other languages stars also and Puri faced rejection everywhere before Vijay Deverakonda finally came on board and okayed the project.

Jana Gana Mana was officially announced and completed its pooja formalities and had a grand launch. However, after the failure of Liger, Vijay and Puri pushed it to the backseat and Puri joined Ram for Double Ismart while Vijay carried on with other films.

Now the buzz in the industry is that Puri Jagan has once again revived his dreams and is likely to do his dream project with Teja Sajja who recently delivered a sensational blockbuster ‘Hanuman’. It needs to be seen whether the project can break its curse and finally go on floors or not.
