Rakul Preet Singh’s Role In Indian-2 Revealed

Indian-2 is a vigilante thriller film starring ‘Ulaganayagan’ Kamal in the titular role. Directed by ace filmmaker Shankar, it is a sequel to the 1996 film Indian. With music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, it also stars Priya Bhavani Shankar, S. J. Suryah, Vivek, Kajal Agarwal, and Rakul Preet Singh.

Titled ‘Bharateeyudu-2’ in Telugu, it carries great buzz among fans and trade. Having said that, an interesting piece of information has surfaced and gone viral on the internet. According to it, Rakul will play the role of a powerful IPS officer that appears in the second half of the film, but that too for a limited duration.

In spite of the limited screen space, the role’s said to be crucial, such as Alia Bhatt’s in RRR (2022). Bankrolled by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies, Indian-2 is slated for a grand worldwide release in June 2024. A third installment in the franchise titled ‘Indian-3’ is reportedly in the works.

The single will release tomorrow as a birthday gift for the lead actor. Maverick music director Anirudh Ravichander is acting as the music director for the film. Demonstrating his commitment to philanthropy, NTR has donated this amount to Shri Badrakali Sametha Veerabhadra Swamy Temple in Cheyyuru, a village in Konaseema district of Andhra Pradesh. He received appreciation for this generous act from people across social media.
