Vijay Deverakonda’s birthday yesterday brought a series of exciting announcements on his upcoming films and updates on films in the shooting stage. Vijay is looking to experiment with new genre films and is increasingly leaning towards entertainers and romantic movies. Vijay, who is also desperate for a hit has apparently changed his strategy and focussing on soulful dramas instead of action entertainers.
Apart from Shiva Nirvana’s Kushi, his next project under Gowtam Tinnanuri’s direction also went on floors recently. This unique combination has pleasantly surprised many. Now there are reports of another exciting film in a totally new genre with Taxiwala director Rahul Sankrityan. This film will be set against a Rayalaseema action backdrop but won’t have the usual tried and tested angle. Reportedly, Rahul is planning of a completely fresh approach.
This is going to be a fresh new genre film for Vijay Devarakonda and Rahul and Vijay are currently in talks for this project which will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. After Shyam Singha Roy, Rahul Sankrityan has taken a big break and the film with Vijay Devarakonda is expected to go on sets by this year-end
