Vamshi Paidipally’s Varisu starring Vijay and Rashmika is now out on OTT. The action drama was released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi on Amazon Prime Video marking its digital premiere. Though the news of the OTT giant bagging the film’s digital rights was out earlier, the makers announced the date of the digital premiere only a few days ago. It was one of the most eagerly awaited OTT releases of recent times.
Many Telugu audiences did not watch this film in theatres as two biggies Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy had released around the same time. Now the film started streaming on Amazon Prime Video from today.
While some are enjoying the Telugu version- Vaarasudu, others are busy tolling director Vamshi Paidipally, who is facing huge trolls on social media. Several social media users are feeling why Vamshi Paidipally did such an overaction for this film and even lashed out at the reporters.
Telugu audiences feel that this is a very routine storyline and screenplay which has been done several times in Telugu films. Many even felt that the movie was very lengthy and boring too in OTT also
