Director Vamsy Paidipally had received many trolls for the way he made his latest film Varisu with Thalapathy Vijay. He became frustrated with all the trolls and the response he received and fired on the people in an interview.
Vamsi said that filmmaking is not at a joke and everybody in a film unit puts a lot of hard work and does many sacrifices to work out things and entertain the audience. He further cited an example of his hero Vijay doing rehearsal for songs and dialogues before coming on to the sets.
The public and netizens have trolled Varisu film by saying that they felt like they’re watching a TV Serial on a big screen. Vamsi further responded to it harshly.
He said that, don’t degrade the serials. All families will love the serials and watch them daily, and they are too an industry. Vamsi told that he doesn’t take the trolls seriously and he will mind his work.
But the netizens are replying to Vamsi saying that being a director he should be ready to face criticism or trolls. According to them, Vamsi’s response is very rude, and they have given examples of other young directors such as H Vinoth and Lokesh Kanagaraj who have responded politely on the same issue.
