Superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer has now got an interesting addition to its already cast. It was recently reported that Malayalam legend Mohanlal will be playing a key role in this project and Kannada star Shiva Rajkumar has already come on board for this film. Now, Telugu actor Sunil has also been brought on board this interesting project, and the makers’ Sun Pictures made the announcement a while ago.
As per the look from the poster is concerned, it appears that Sunil will be seen as a grey character and might be one of the antagonists in this film. Sunil’s character in Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise was well appreciated and his look from Jailer looks pretty similar to his ‘Mangalam Senu’ look.
Sunil, who started his career as a successful comedian has been playing interesting characters of late. Apart from Pushpa, he was also seen in an interesting role in Colour Photo
Anirudh will compose the music for the film while the big-budget action entertainer will be bankrolled by Sun Pictures. The film will also feature Ramya Krishnan and with such a packed cast of talented stars, the Jailer sure looks like a feast for the fans.
Nelson Dileepkumar, who earlier directed Beast and Doctor will be directing Rajinikanth’s Jailer. The movie is in its filming stage and is slated for a Summer release.
