Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy is all set for its release on the OTT platform Disney + Hotstar. The film will be out on the OTT platform at 6 PM today after a successful theatrical run. Released for Sankranti 2023, the film clashed with Chiran Waltair Veerayya and both these films brought good news for trade circles and exhibitors.
Despite a mixed talk, the film performed well, especially overseas, and had an excellent opening weekend. Balayya’s screen presence, powerful dialogues, and action blocks were the main highlights of the movie and Thaman’s thumping BGM added further excitement to the movie.
Veera Simha Reddy marked the first collaboration between Balakrishna and Gopichand Malineni. The duo was on a career-high with the massive success of Akhanda and Krack respectively and this project was released amidst massive expectations.
This Gopichand Malineni project grossed 100 crores plus marking the second consecutive film after Akhanda to have achieved this feat. Veera Simha Reddy also starred Shruti Haasan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Duniya Vijay, and Honey Rose among others
