Tillu Square starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran opened to a phenomenal start yesterday. The film was directed by Mallik Ram and produced by Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments. Producer Dil Raju happens to be the distributor for Tillu Square in the Nizam area. The film is all on its way to compensating for losses brought by Guntur Kaaram to Dil Raju.
Guntur Kaaram starring Mahesh Babu released during the Sankranti season this year but ended up being an average grosser. Dil Raju who distributed the film in both the Telugu states saw a big loss. He even brought the rights of Tillu Square for a lesser amount of 7 crore for the same reason. Tillu Square managed to collect a 3.7 crore share worldwide. The film will also achieve the breakeven mark by today. It is also expected to do more than 20 crores share in the Nizam area in its full run.
With these assumptions, Tillu Square would definitely compensate for the losses of Guntur Kaaram for Dil Raju. The team of Tillu Square is very confident about the film’s success on the other hand. Producer Naga Vamsi expressed confidence about the film touching the 100 gross mark worldwide as well.
