Tollywood Actor Manchu Vishnu made news by announcing his Pan India film, Kannappa. The film is based on the ardent devotee of Lord Shiva, Bhaktha Kannappa. This film has a big cast of Veteran Tollywood Actor Mohan Babu and Malayalam actor Mohanlal. What is more interesting is that Tollywood Actor Prabhas is also about to be a part of the film. Prabhas is preparing himself to appear as Lord Shiva in Kannappa.
Prabhas’s Uncle, Veteran Tollywood Actress, Krishnam Raju was known for portraying the role of Kannappa in the Yesteryear film, Bhaktha Kannappa. The film brought many accolades for him and it was also one of the blockbusters back then. Fans of Krishnam Raju wanted Prabhas to portray the role of Kannappa again as a remake. Krisham Raju too spoke many times about making the film with Prabhas. But Prabhas now chose to be a part of the film starring Vishnu. He allotted dates for the film as well. Prabhas will be joining the sets from April 12th at Ramoji Film City for a 4-5 days shoot.
Manchu Vishnu and Prabhas have been best friends since childhood. It was Vishnu who requested Prabhas to portray the role of Lord Shiva and the latter agreed to that it seems. Now, it would become another devotional role for Prabhas after once portraying himself as Lord Rama in Aadipurush.
