Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s Tillu Square has got off to a terrific start with mostly positive reviews and good word of mouth helping the film. The film has opened to sensational numbers in all territories much to the maker’s delight.
Overseas, it collected more than $1.2M on opening day. In Nizam, it opened with a 3.7 Cr share. Overall in Telugu states, Tillu Square opened in the 8 Cr range share excluding GST which is excellent.
The total worldwide share is in the range of 13 Cr making it the 2nd biggest opener of this year after Guntur Kaaram. This Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran has now emerged as the all-time 2nd biggest opener in medium-budget films after Nani’s Dasara. Tillu Square’s day advances even stronger than day 1 and the film is all set to achieve the breakeven mark [32Cr] by tomorrow itself.
The film is a sequel to blockbuster, DJ Tillu. Directed by Mallik Ram, this romantic crime comedy is produced by Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments. A crispy run time of just over two hours, Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s entertaining performance and some entertaining comedy portions have resulted in the film garnering success.
