When Sita Ramam was first announced as a project, I don’t think anyone, including the director, Hanu and producers Vyjayanthi Movies could have imagined that their film would receive such commercial success. Leaving even the commercial aspects aside, no one would have imagined this level of critical success for the movie.
At its heart, a beautiful love story between two individuals who are so different from each other. The film really tugged at the heartstrings of the audiences. And, now the film has bagged a very prestigious award to cement its success.
On the 30th of April, the film bagged “The Best Film Jury Award” at the 13th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival Awards. The Dada Saheb Phalke Award is one of the highest forms of honor in the field of films, very few filmmakers can proudly say that they have received this award.
This is actually Dulquer’s second Dada Saheb Phalke award as he previously received it for Best Actor in a Negative Role for his performance in Chup.
