Ram Charan’s next film after Shankar’s RC 15 has been confirmed. There were a lot of speculations and last-minute changes regarding this project. However, now it has been confirmed that Buchi Babu Sana, who shot to fame with the super hit Uppena will direct Charan for RC 16.
The film will have the announcement today and DSP is likely to score the music. A new producer is producing this film and rest of the details will be out soon. Ram Charan was initially supposed to work with Gowtham Tinnanuri for RC16. But that film has been scrapped now and reportedly Gowtham will team up with Vijay Deverakonda for that film.
Coming to RC16, it is being reported that it is the same story that Buchi Babu had narrated to Jr NTR. This project was supposed to be Jr NTR’s next film after RRR but he chose Koratala Siva instead.
Interestingly, Buchi Babu has earlier worked with Ram Charan as an AD on Rangasthalam which was directed by his mentor Sukumar. Charan heard the script and gave the green signal to this project. Not much is known about the genre and story of this film, but it is being speculated that it is a rural subject with a sports backdrop.
