ప్రశాంత్, ప్రభు దేవ, వైభవ్, స్నేహ, లైలా తదితరులు కీలక పాత్రలు చేసిన ఈ మూవీలో మీనాక్షి చౌదరి హీరోయిన్ గా నటించారు. ఇక ఇటీవల మంచి అంచనాలతో ఆడియన్స్ ముందుకి వచ్చిన ఈ మూవీ ఫస్ట్ డే యావరేజ్ టాక్ సొంతం చేసుకుంది. ఇక ఓపెనింగ్స్ పరంగా బాగానే రాబట్టిన ది గోట్ మూవీ 2వ రోజు వరల్డ్ వైడ్ రూ. 55 కోట్లు రాబట్టింది.

Recently released Telugu films are set to hit OTT space on the same day. Aay and Committee Kurrollu which released and became sleeper hits will make the OTT appearance on 12th September along with disaster Mr. Bachchan.

Aay starring Narne Nithin and Mr. Bachchan starring Ravi Teja will stream in all south Indian languages on leading OTT Giant, Netflix. Committee Kurrollu will stream on ETV Win. Mr. Bachchan which released on August 15th amid good hype and expectations became a big disaster on the opening day itself. The film generated negative reviews and was trolled heavily. The lead Actor Ravi Teja and Director Harish Shankar had to return some of their remunerations to cover up the loss. Now the film chose to make an OTT stream in less than a month. It has to be seen how Mr. Bachchan attracts the OTT audience.

Aay and Committee Kurrollu hit the jackpot. Both had no hype or star power yet became big blockbusters after the release taking the advantage of Independece Day holidays this year. No OTT compromise for Kanguva

Kollywood films though performing well in Hindi Belts have been compromising due to the OTT offers and deal. They are opting for a less theatrical window there. Leo starring Vijay did well in Hindi market but Viay’s current film, The GOAT didn’t release the film in Hindi Multiplexes because of 4 week OTT deal. But it is now learnt that there will be no OTT compromise for Kanguva, one of the most awaited big budgeted films of Kollywood.

The GOAT opened well and if there was a multiplex release then the film could have opened very well in Hindi market for sure. But the team, as said has missed this chance. The team of Kanguva has confirmed that the film will release across all chains in Hindi Belts as a proper Pan India release. The film and team have also made an 8 week OTT window period so it will release in huge number of screens in all languages.

The team of Kanguva has also confirmed that the film will definitely release in 2024. After Vettaiyan starring Rajinikanth deciding to clash with Kanguva, the team has decided to postpone the film to some other date. It is also learnt that the film will release in 2 months. The film is doing very well in Tamil Nadu and Overseas belt. The performance is also okayish in Karnataka but whereas Kerala and Telugu States collections are disastrous to say the least. Only two films in Indian Cinema have crossed $3 Million premieres in America till now. They are RRR and Kalki 2898 AD. Kalki 2898 AD has also established a big record of $3.9 Million Premieres. Now, Devara starring NTR advance bookins in America are a big shocker. All expected a big opening but this was huge. Devara with these openings is set for a $3 Million Premieres in America.

The film’s North America sales are nearing $700K mark already and set to cross $1 Million in just few days and the trailer is yet to release. At this current pace, Devara is definitely eyeing $3 Million Premieres in America which is sensational. The overseas rights were bagged for 27 crores. For this, around $7.5 Million is considered the breakeven mark. But this looks like achievable from US alone in just 1 week. If word of mouth is positive then an unreal trending can be witnessed.

But its Telugu version has become a disaster. The early estimates are in the range of 22 crores gross from the Tamil version. Day 2 performance in other launguage territories saw a big drop. The film could have scored even more if it had performed well in other language markets.
