Nani’s Hit 3 Officially Launched With A Release Date!

As expected, Nani’s 32nd feature film appearance is ‘Hit: The Third Case’. Bankrolled by Wallpaper Cinema and Unanimous Productions together, it is written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu, who handled the first two installments of the franchise.

Announcing the same, a stunning poster has been released that showcased the ‘Natural Star’ in a fierce avatar. As shown in Hit: The Second Case, Nani will play the role of a hot-headed cop called Arjun Sarkar.

Hit 3 will hit the big screens worldwide on May 1, 2025. Fans expect Sailesh Kolanu to make a comeback after the debacle of Venkatesh’s Saindhav (2024). Double Ismart – Now Streaming Online!

Puri Jagannadh’s action drama Double Ismart (2024) has been a box-office bomb for obvious reasons. Starring Ram Pothineni, Kavya Thapar, and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles, it is the sequel to the blockbuster Ismart Shankar (2019).

Followed by its commercial failure, the film has arrived on OTT within three weeks of its theatrical run. Double Ismart is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Besides its original Telugu version, it is also available in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.

The film’s background score and songs are composed by Mani Sharma, who also worked for the first installment. On the work front, Ram is joining hands with Harish Shankar, who also tasted failure with Mr. Bachchan (2024). Follow us for more such exciting updates on cinema.

Average Hindi Movies Breaking Records

Stree 2 has emerged as a major blockbuster and joined the Rs 500 crores club. The horror comedy genre has worked extremely well for Hindi movies in the recent past and Stree 2 has managed to take total advantage of this factor. While the film has achieved massive success without any A-listers, many industry insiders and film lovers believe the film was not so strong in content and the collections are surprising.

Normally in any industry, quality films with great content, or big-budget star combinations films with decent content break the records and emerge as Industry Hits. But in Bollywood, in recent times, movies like Pathaan, Jawan, Gadar 2, and now Stree 2 achieved bumper collections and emerged as Industry hits.

The content of all these Hindi movies is not of top-notch quality and even the stories and screenplay were routine. These are very ordinary films but broke the records in all the territories

The record-breaking performance of Stree 2 has been a massive surprise. The film is even heading towards breaking Shahrukh Khan’s Jawan collections in India to emerge as an All-time Industry hit. The trade circles are expecting Stree 2 might even become the 1st film to collect 600 Cr nett in India in Hindi belts.

The GOAT: Blockbuster

Finally, the day has arrived. Vijay’s The GOAT has been released worldwide amidst high expectations. Even though the film’s promotional content did not work as expected, the combination of Venkat Prabhu and Vijay has created good buzz for the Tamil audience leading to excellent advance bookings.

The movie has received a thumbs up from the Tamil audience and the premieres have given out a positive talk. Even the Telugu audience has given a decent talk to the film. Vijay’s performance as a comic spy and a highly decorated special agent is one of the film’s major highlights.

Looking at the positive vibes, the movie will surely be a blockbuster. The breakeven mark is at 400 Cr and looking at the initial talk, the GOAT is expected to collect 500 Cr in the full run. That being said, the film’s music has failed to create any impact and is one of the major letdowns. Anirudh’s BGM and music were required for a film like this and that would have certainly added to the film’s success.

The Greatest of All Time also stars Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Ajmal Ameer, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary and Mohan in key roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed GOAT’s music while Kalapathi Aghoram has produced this prestigious project under AGS Entertainment.

Anirudh getting trolled for Daavudi song from Devara

Devara‘s Third single, Daavudi released today amidst great hype. The song instantly disappointed the fans and audience with its composition of Music Director, Anirudh Ravichander. The song appealed repetitive of many of Anirudh’s compositions in the past. Anirudh is now getting trolled for Daavudi song from Devara on social media platforms.

The song looked like a re-done version of Anirudh’s Arabic Kuthu from Beast and Kaavaalaa from Jailer. Additionally, NTR’s dance moves have also been criticised as repetitive and not so eye pleasing. Anirudh has already faced the criticism for other songs of Devara. Fear Song and Chuttamalle though becoming chartbusters attracted criticism of being copied. Now it happening again for the third song, Daavudi is highly disappointing.

We have to see Anirudh responds to this trolling. Anirudh has never faced copy allegations this way for any of his previous albums. He must have been under pressure to deliver these songs faster. This would have led him to compose the songs hastily. Or else, this was not at all expected from one of the leading Music Directors of entire South Indian film Industries. Devara will be releasing on 27th September. The Music Director must come up with great Background Music alike his Tamil films to satisfy the fans and audience.

Kalki 2898 AD – No.1 On Netflix!

Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD (Hindi) has taken the streaming world by storm. Though it was initially outperformed by Dhanush’s Raayan (2024), the Prabhas-starrer garnered first place in Netflix’s Global Rankings in its second week in the Non-English films category.

With a total of 7.1 million views (20.6 million streaming hours) in two weeks, Kalki 2898 AD’s digital stream is a huge success and paved the way for the franchise’s future projects. The film features Kamal Hassan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone in supporting roles. Santosh Narayan is the music composer.

Desperation: Jr. NTR or Koratala Siva?

Overall, Devara’s music album is a success. The makers have invested a bomb on Anirudh Ravichander, and he didn’t disappoint. The second single, ‘Chuttamalle’, a romantic melody, is undoubtedly the biggest hit of the three songs released so far. While there were some plagarism allegations, the track is thoroughly enjoyable.

However, there seems to be a desperation behind ‘Fear Song’ and ‘Daavudi’. While the former feels like a rip-off of Hukum from Jailer (2023), the latter is a mishmash of Halamathi Habibu from Vijay’s Beast (2022). It is evident that the makers have tried to mimic the success of Anirudh’s previous hits.

This brings us to the question: who’s the individual behind these desperate attempts: Tarak or Koratala? Whoever it could be, Anirudh has done a commendable job in creating good buzz around Devara: Part One that is scheduled for a release on 27th September, 2024.

Krishna Vamshi’s Khadgam Re-Releasing Soon- Deets Inside!

Krishna Vamshi, a veteran filmmaker of Telugu cinema, has been in the news lately since a film of his, Murari, has seen a grand re-release on the eve of Mahesh Babu’s birthday. As expected, Mrurai 4K emerged as a huge success.

Following this, fans started requesting the filmmaker to consider re-releasing Khadgam, a classic action drama featuring Ravi Teja, Srikanth, and Prakash Raj in lead roles. Responding to fans’ requests, Vamshi made an official announcement that Khadgam will hit the big screens on October 2, 2024.

Thaman Finally Responds To Game Changer Trolls!

Ram Charan fans, who are severely upset with SVC Creations for not delivering timely updates, went ahead to troll Game Changer’s director Shankar, producer ‘Dil Raju, and music composer S. S. Thaman with vulguar language and trends featuring curse words.

To mark an end to all this nonsense, Thaman has finally tweeted reposting to fans’ requests. Addressing the ongoing ‘negative trends’ and ‘vulguar comments’, he stated that it’s only going to hurt the film and its magnanimity.

“I request from the heart❤️ to all the fans to kindly oblige and give us some positive energy possible,”  the music composer said. While the frustration of fans is understandable, the language used by them is too harsh for legends like Shankar. Reports suggest that a new poster with the film’s release date will be out on Ganesh Chaturthi.

Mr Bachachan: Ravi Teja returns 4 Crore

Mass Maharaja’s Ravi Teja’s Mr Bachchan was released last month and ended up being a massive box office failure. The film managed to create some buzz owing to its audio. However, once the film was released, it attracted poor reviews and negative word of mouth.

After the failures of Tiger Nageswara Rao and Eagle, Ravi Teja and fans hoped for a big success with this remake of the Bollywood superhit Raid. That didn’t happen and the film ended up being a massive flop.

Taking responsibility for the failure of Mr Bachchan, both Ravi Teja and Harish Shankar have now decided to return a part of their remuneration. People’s Media Factory bankrolled this project and Ravi Teja has returned Rs 4 crore while Harish Shankar has returned Rs 2 crore to the producers.

Mr Bachchan marks the third collaboration between People’s Media Factory and Ravi Teja. Their first film Dhamaka was a major hit while Eagle and Mr Bachchan have failed miserably at the box office.
