Ram Charan Unfairly Targeted Over Game Changer Debacle

0

It is widely known that Ram Charan and Di Raju’s Game Changer, directed by Shankar, emerged as a big disaster at the box office. However, Ram Charan has been unfairly targeted over Game Changer’s debacle for a few days.

Success or failure is in no one’s hands. In the film industry, the success rate is very low. But for Game Changer, the producers continuously dragged on about the loss, and whether they mentioned it directly or indirectly, the blame was going on Charan.

Dil Raju and Shankar are responsible for Game Changer’s failure

But if we see the film’s cost failure, the main responsible persons are Dil Raju and Shankar. Both failed to control the movie’s runtime and budget. If the movie was made on a planned budget with the same outcome, then the makers could have earned stable profits.

Even though the project was delayed by Indian 2, Charan supported it throughout the shooting, did not even sign other films, and allotted the dates whenever the team asked.

If Ram Charan had signed another film between the Game Changer’s shooting, it could have faced much bigger problems, but the actor supported it throughout the shooting. So, how can he be responsible for the movie’s cost failure?

Ram Charan faced a big setback with Game Changer after RRR

As a star, Ram Charan’s stardom also pulled in almost 200 Cr gross for the film, and no star can do much for a film that had low pre-release buzz with big negativity and bad WOM upon its release.

Game Changer producers immediately recovered with Sankranthiki Vastunam, but Charan received a big blow, which was a crucial movie for him after RRR. He put his heart into the film and saw a bad result.

Certainly, he had a big, tough time at that time. The concern should be more on him, but Ram Charan is being unfairly targeted over Game Changer’s debacle.

War 2: Naga Vamsi to Acquire Telugu States Rights

0

War 2 is one of the most hyped films of Indian cinema this year. Starring Hrithik Roshan and NTR as the leads, the film carries equal hype in Hindi and Telugu. Producer Naga Vamsi is all set to acquire War 2 Telugu States rights.

Naga Vamsi’s production house is now one of the biggest production houses in Tollywood, and it also does distribution of other films by acquiring total Telugu states’ rights.

Naga Vamsi to acquire Telugu States Rights

Previously, Vamsi bought NTR’s Devara’s entire Telugu states’ rights, and it was a blockbuster hit. Now the latest news is that he aims for War 2 rights as well. Interestingly, the producer also tried to buy Rajinikanth’s Coolie rights, but it finally went to Asian Group.

Now with Coolie going outside, Naga Vamsi is all set to acquire War 2 Telugu States rights. He is said to have quoted 80 Cr for the Telugu states’ rights to the film, while the makers quoted price stands at 100 Cr.

War 2 needs to get good distributor in Telugu States to compete with Raini’s Coolie

A few more producers are also said to be in the race to acquire this biggie’s distribution rights in Telugu, but according to industry buzz, it is likely to close with Naga Vamsi only with a price in between 80 and 90 Cr.

This is definitely a good deal for Hrithik Roshan and NTR’s War 2 producers also, as if they go with their own release, then finding a big number of theaters will be tough for them, as Rajini’s Coolie is being distributed by big names.

So, War 2 also needs big distributors, and Naga Vamsi is the right person to handle such competition.

The film is a part of the Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe. So, obviously it will have the franchise craze, and it is also a sequel to the blockbuster movie War (2019). Besides these, one of the most exciting factors in this multistarrer is the dance number.

Fans await the dance number featuring NTR and Hrithik Roshan in War 2

Because both heroes are the biggest dancers in Indian cinema, there are huge expectations on their dance moves. Reportedly, Hrithik Roshan and NTR will face each other in an epic dance battle in War 2.

This song was initially planned in May, but due to Hrithik’s injury, it has been moved to July, and the shoot is said to have been planned between 1st July and 6th July.

The Oscar-winning Naatu Naatu played a big role in the movie’s buzz and success. Now, for War 2, definitely this song has higher chances to take buzz to a new level.

Not only Telugu cinema fans but even all audiences expect this song to be released as the first single for the movie.

The producer appeared super confident about the film, and he expressed that the movie will definitely achieve big success after watching the first copy. He said the same thing in almost all the interviews.

But somehow the movie is not carrying a big buzz among audiences, and the recent results of Nithin’s movies also played a major role in this.

The audiences will be interested in watching paid premieres, and the occupancy will be good.

Despite War 2 releasing in competition, all the Telugu producers went into a race to acquire the rights to Rajini’s film. With this, the business price also reached a higher limit.

Coolie finishes a massive theatrical deal in Telugu States

Initially, negotiations happened at the 35 Cr level, and with multiple names coming into the race, the price continuously increased. Finally, it has closed at 44 Cr, excluding the GST.

This is a very huge price and the 3rd biggest business film in the Telugu States in dubbed films after KGF-2 and 2 Point 0.

Rajinikanth’s Coolie Telugu states the business deal is out now, and the movie’s rights have been acquired by Asian Group [Asian Cinemas + Suresh Babu + Dil Raju].

So in all areas, despite the War 2 release, Coolie will get a very good screen count. The internal business is said to have already closed for distributors at a 50Cr ratio in the Telugu states.

To achieve theatrical breakeven, the film needs to collect 50 Cr share in Telugu states, which means 85 Cr+ gross.

Allu Arjun Succeeded, You Failed – Dil Raju’s Honest Words to Nithiin

Producer Dil Raju’s upcoming film, Thammudu, starring Nithiin, is all set to be released in theaters on July 4th. During one of the promotional interviews, Dil Raju compared Nithiin with Allu Arjun and said that the former failed while the latter succeeded in becoming a star.

Nithin with Dil (2003) and Allu Arjun with Arya (2004) score big hits during their initial career days. However, if we observe, AA went on to become one of the topmost stars of Indian cinema.

Allu Arjun Succeeded, You Failed – Dil Raju says to Nithiin

But Nithiin is still struggling to get himself a proper market or stardom. Producer Dil Raju said that as an industry person, he expected both the heroes to become stars in the future.

But Allu Arjun succeeded in achieving that goal while Nithiin failed. This was shared on a funny note by the reputed producer.

However, we cannot deny the fact in Raju’s words. If you observe the career of Nithin, he had a very good launch with a superhit movie called Jayam, and he has also worked with all the big directors in his career.

Directors like VV Vinayak, SS Rajamouli, Teja, Krishna Vamsi, and Puri Jagannath have worked with the actor, but still, he did not get the deserved success because of wrong choices of projects.

Meanwhile, the makers of Thammudu have announced they will release the second trailer of the film this evening.

Kannappa Buzz Driven More by Prabhas Than Content

0

After a somewhat decent first weekend at the box office, Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa experienced a big crash on today’s morning shows. It looks like Kannappa buzz has been driven more by Prabhas than content.

Kannappa drops big after a decent weekend at the Box Office

Before the release, the film did not have a big buzz, but because of the star cast and genre, it had a decent craze. Surprisingly, the film had a good start for noon shows in Telugu on its first day.

As the movie opened with decent WOM, with the 2nd half carrying good reports, everyone expected it to gather more numbers at the box office. But shockingly, it saw a drop on day 2 and did not pick up on Sunday as well.

Prabhas is the main factor for Kannappa’s Buzz

Coming to today’s noon shows, the film completely goes down. This is unexpected. These trends prove that Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa’s buzz has been driven more by Prabhas than content.

The excitement among Telugu audiences was only because the Baahubali actor acted in a special role, despite the film having several other exciting elements.

As far as the content is concerned, the film, Kannappa, is certainly a decent watch with a good second half, but if it is still underperforming, it suggests that somehow, the audiences did not connect with the content.

Because Dhanush holds the copyright for the film, “I said that I’m making a film with Silambarasan TR in the world of Vada Chennai. Dhanush didn’t even ask for a single rupee and said that he would give an NOC. But there is a lot of negative speculation going on with us.”
