Nani 32 is Hit 3

Tollywood Actor Nani who is currently enjoying the reception for his Saripodhaa Sanivaaram has announced his next project. The film which is Nani’s 32nd film will be Hit 3. A poster was released officially by Nani on his X/Twitter account. He also tweeted 5th September and 11:04 AM declaring that the official announcement will be out on that day and time.

Hit 3 is likely to start shooting immediately and Nani’s other film with Srikanth Odela may start little late. Nani is also likely to shoot in parallel for both the films as well. But this will go on floors first. He played the cameo role in Hit 2 as a police officer. He will be reprising the same role in Hit 3. The film series has a good following among the audience. We have to see if it gets repeated with Nani being part of it.

On the other hand, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram did well in the first weekend. The film looks okayish for now and has to show great momentum in the second weekend to become a hit. All hopes are on the festival Vinayaka Chavithi and its holiday season which may help the film as there is no competition with any other film at the box office.

These are massive numbers for any Indian film in recent times. For The GOAT to achieve breakeven and attain a ‘hit’ status, it has to mint a worldwide gross of INR 400 crore. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film’s streaming rights are brought by Netflix, while the music rights are bagged by T-Series. Zee Network has acquired the satellite rights of the film for a record price.

Murari 4K: Still No.1 In Re-Releases!

Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh, re-released in a remastered 4K format, has been on a rampage at the box office. Beating Mahesh Babu’s Murari by a big margin, the Harsh Shankar-directedorial has grossed a record INR 7 crore on the first day.

However, the film failed to hold the mementum on its second day. Barring few iconic theaters in Hyderabad, Gabbar Singh 4K’s numbers are quite minimal. Considering the trend, the film’s closing collection is expected to be in the range of INR 8 crore.

Having said that, Krishna Vamshi’s romantic drama Murari 4K, with a final worldwide gross of INR 9 crore, will most probably continue to be the highest-grossing Telugu film among re-releases. Follow us for more such exciting updates on box-office figures.

Sree Vishnu’s Swag Locks A Release Date!

Sree Vishnu, an actor known for his unique script selection and subtle performances, has recently tasted successes with Om Bheem Bush (2024) and Samajavaragamana (2023). His next release will be a comedy drama called ‘Swag’. Ritu Varma is the female lead.

It marks the actor’s second collaboration with Hasith Goli of Raja Raja Chora (2021) fame. The posters and teasers unveiled from the film created a good buzz in the trade circles. In the most recent update, the makers have announced that Swag will hit the big screens on October 4, 2024.

Bankrolled by T. G. Vishwa Prasad under the banner ‘People Media Factory’, the film is expected to compensate for the heavy losses faced by the production company lately. The studio’s biggest production is ofcourse the Prabhas-Maruthi film ‘The Raja Saab’.

The Nandamuri family has once again underlined the golden hearts they carry. Owing to the extreme rains and floods across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Balakrishna has come forward to donate INR 1 crore (50 lakhs each to AP and TS).

What followed this was the ‘Young Tiger’ donating the same amount (in the same divisions) to the Chief Minister Relief Fund. Filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas, Suryadevara Naga Vamshi, and C. Ashwini Dutt are some other people of the Telugu Film Fraternity who donated big amounts.

On the work front, Jr. NTR is awaiting his next release, Devara: Part One, written and directed by Koratala Siva. On the other hand, Balayya is reportedly keen to launch Nandamuri Mokshagna with a fantasy film called ‘Gandiva’, directed by Prashanth Varma of Hanuman (2024) fame.

According to the latest update, the Vivek Athreya-directed film has surpassed the $2 million mark and emerged as the highest grossing film in Nani’s career. Saripodha Sanivaaram is the second film to achieve this feat after Srikanth Odela’s Dasara (2023).

Gabbar Singh 4K was re-released on the occasion of Pawan Kalyan’s birthday. The film had fans going frenzy at theatres. The film has opened to massive numbers in both Telugu States. Gabbar Singh 4K collections are an All Time Record beating Mahesh Babu’s earlier Murari 4K re-release.

In Andhra Pradesh, the film has collected 3 crore gross and in Telangana it contributed around 2.7 crores gross. The Total Telugu states gross now stands at 5.7 crores. Rest of India Gross is close to 80 Lakhs. Overseas gross is reported to be around 70 Lakhs. The total gross on the opening day will be around 7.2 crores which is phenomenal.

This is an All Time Record for any re-release. Recently we saw Murari 4K opening with big numbers of above 5 crores worldwide. Now, Gabbar Singh 4K has exceeded this by a big margin. It needs to be seen how the film performs today as well. Fans of Pawan Kalyan have been waiting for a film for a long time. This has also been one of the reasons Gabbar Singh 4K’s huge opening. The film now looks to beat the full run record of Murari 4K re-release. So, let’s wait for some more days to see a new record.

Varun Tej’s Matka bags a record Audio Deal

After the massive failures of Operation Valentine and Gandeevadhari Arjuna, Varun Tej has pinned huge hopes on his next project Matka. Karuna Kumar, who earlier directed Palasa 1978 and Sridevi Soda Centre is directing this film which also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary. Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala and Rajani Thalluri have bankrolled it under Wyra Entertainment and SRT Entertainments banner.

Varun Tej is in serious need of box office success and Matka can be termed as a make-or-break film for his career. Aditya Music has bagged the film’s audio rights for Rs 3.6 crores, making it the highest of the Mega Hero’s career. GV Prakash Kumar has composed this film’s tunes that follow the events across 24 years from 1958 to 1982.

Matka also stars Norah Fatehi, Naveen Chandra, Ajay Ghosh, Kannada Kishore, Ravindra Vijay and P Ravi Shankar in key roles. Matka is based on true incidents and is a pan-India project which will feature Varun Tej in four different getups.
