Murugadoss Offers Hair at Palani for Madharaasi

Sivakarthikeyan’s latest film, Madharaasi, directed by Murugadoss, has received a decent response, though the box office performance is not as great. It got good applause. Director Murugadoss offers his hair at Palani after a positive response to his work.

AR Murugadoss has seen continuous setbacks from the past few years, as all of his films received big criticism. However, for Madharaasi, starring Sivakarthikeyan, after a long time there are appreciations coming from Tamil audiences and critics.

Even the other directors, like Shankar, Linguswamy, and many industry people, praised the film, which gave a big relief for the Ghajini director.

The director said that he had shaved his head at the Palani Murugan temple for Madharaasi. Also, he previously did the same for his first film, Dheena. He said that this was also like the first film for him, as he was very panicked because 2 films continuously did not materialize and created a gap.

Fans Disappointed With OG Hindi

0

These days, many top actors are expanding their image across India and even aiming for international audiences. Fans of Pawan Kalyan had high hopes that OG would be his big pan-India blockbuster. However, they are disappointed to learn that the film will not have a wide release in Hindi.

According to the latest updates, OG will not be shown on major Hindi multiplex screens because of its OTT deal. Netflix has acquired the digital rights, and the film will be available for streaming after a four-week theatrical run in all languages.

No Big Release in Hindi for Pawan Kalyan’s OG

As a result, OG will only be released in single-screen theaters and a few local multiplex screens in North India. This is expected to affect its box office performance, since multiplex screens play a major role in the success of Hindi films.

Another reason for the limited reach is that the “They Call Him OG” team is focusing mainly on Telugu promotions and not putting much effort into promoting the film in other languages.

So, while Pawan Kalyan’s OG may perform well in Telugu states, its impact in Hindi and other languages is likely to be small, and the overall box office numbers may be lower due to minimal promotion.

No IMAX for OG in USA

Pawan Kalyan’s OG is trending extraordinarily in the USA. The Premiers pre-sales are at $1.25M already, and the film is heading towards 3 million Premiers. However, the film will not be released in IMAX in the USA.

PSPK fans eagerly await the film’s release, but there is sad news for them and other audiences, as OG will be missing the IMAX release in the USA. The distributor officially announced it on social media a while back.

They Call Him OG is directed and written by Sujeeth and produced by D. V. V. Danayya under DVV Entertainment. The film features Pawan Kalyan in the lead role as Ojas Gambheera, with Emraan Hashmi making his Telugu debut as the antagonist Omi Bhau.

Priyanka Mohan plays the female lead, Kanmani. The supporting cast includes Prakash Raj, Arjun Das, Rao Ramesh, Vennela Kishore, Sriya Reddy, Harish Uthaman, and Subhalekha Sudhakar. The music is composed by Thaman S, with cinematography by Ravi K. Chandran and Manoj Paramahamsa, and editing by Naveen Nooli.
