Ram Charan Making His OTT Debut With Flop Director

Mega Power Star Ram Charan who is acting and producing films in now looking to make OTT content. During the past 4 months, the amount of subscribers and viewers has increased tremendously to OTT platforms.

Tollywood director Meher Ramesh who is looking for a breakthrough has been in talks with Chiranjeevi for a project. Meher Ramesh earlier has delivered duds like Billa, Sakthi, and Shadow. Again after 7 years is willing to hold the megaphone and direct a film. As Chiru has few more commitments Meher Ramesh is gearing up to direct a web series. Ram Charan who owns a production company Konidela Productions will be producing this web series. As per our industry buzz, a noted actor has been roped in for the lead role and this web series will be aired on Allu Aravind’s streaming platform Aha Video. On the other hand, Allu Aravind is not leaving any stone to make his platform stand top among other competents.

Ram Charan is currently working for Rajamouli’s RRR and he is also doing a crucial role in Chiranjeevi’s Acharya. Ram Charan himself is producing Acharya under his home production banner Konidela Productions banner who earlier produced Khaidi No150 and Sye Raa.

Tamannaah & Kajal Aggarwal’s Film Direct OTT Release

Producers who are in dilemma about the release of their films are opting for direct OTT release as they have no more options left. Due to this lockdown not only films that are under production but also films which were shelved post-shooting are finding for OTT deals.

Last year a film titled “That Is Mahalakshmi” starring Tamannaah Bhatia as a lead actress was launched which is the official remake of Bollywood film Queen. This film is being made in Tamil with Kajal Aggarwal being as lead actress, Malayalam with Manjima Mohan and in Kannada with Parul Yadav. First Look posters and Teaser of this film were released last year but the film hasn’t found its release. The Telugu version of this film was initially directed by Neelakanta but due to clash between Tamannaah and director, so the makers have roped young director Prashanth Varma to complete the remaining portion. Somehow the film shoot has been completed in all languages and the producer Manu Kumaran is now on talks with Amazon Prime Video for direct release.

Star Writer Roped In For #Prabhas21 Film

Rebel Star Prabhas is doing back to back Pan India films and currently, he is working for love entertainer Radhe Shyam. Radhe Shyam is being directed by Jil fame Radha Krishnan and produced by UV Creations. The title logo along with the first look poster was released recently.

Radhe Shyam is still leftover with more than 30% of its shoot and Prabhas has announced his next film. Prabhas has joined his hands with Nag Ashwin for #Prabhas21. Nag Ashwin become a popular director with his last film Mahanati which won National Award. Nag Ashwin is currently working on pre-production works which are going on full swing. Burra Sai Madhav who is a famous Tollywood writer is now roped in as dialogue writer for this film. Burra Sai Madhav is popular for hos works like Kanche, Gauthamiputra Satakarini and SyeRaa.

In a recent interview, Burra Sai Madhav has confirmed that he is currently working for Rajamouli’s RRR, Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film with Krish and Prabhas 21. He also added that the script of #Prabhas21 has come out very well. The rest cast and crew details are yet to be finalized. This high budget scientific thriller will be produced by Ashwini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies banner.

As there is no clarity over re-opening of theaters producers are opting of Direct OTT Release by skipping theatrical release. One of the most awaited Bollywood film Laxmi Bomb has made a whopping deal with Disney Plus Hotstar for direct release. Recently Disney Plus Hotstar has also confirmed that they are going to stream Laxmmi Bomb along with other 6 Bollywood films. While the release date of Dil Bechara has announced as 24th July remaining streaming dates are yet to be announced. As per industry buzz, Disney Plus Hotstar is planning to lock the release of the Laxmmi Bomb in 2nd week of September. The possible date for its digital stream is said to be on September 11th.

Laxmmi Bomb stars Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani in lead roles. This film is an official remake of Tamil/ Telugu film Kanchan. This film is being directed by Raghav Lawrence who directed the original version. This film is produced under Fox Star Studios along with Cape of Good Films banner.

Tik Tok there’s no need for any introduction to this platform. China’s video clip platform Tik Tok has emerged as the biggest social entertainment app on Play Store. This app has recorded the highest downloads and most active app on users devices.

Tik Tok was earlier banned by the Indian Government for regulating privacy policy but again after few days, Tik Tok is back on Play Store with a new set of refutations. The film will start it’s shooting in mid September and will hit screens next year.
