Superstar Rajinikanth’s and Director Siva’s much awaited Annaatthe is going to be released for the Diwali 2021 season. The shooting of the film resumed after the lockdown on December 15th,2020 in Hyderabad. However, the shooting got interrupted and had to be stopped since 8 of the crew members tested positive for COVID-19. Since superstar is elderly and due to his health conditions, the unit has decided not to take risks and they decided to postpone the shooting. Rajinikanth was also hospitalized for fluctuating blood pressure issue and was discharged on December 27th, 2020. Now, the shooting is set to resume from March 15th,2021 in Chennai. The team has constructed a grand set in EVP film city, Chennai. The movie has huge hype as it’s Siva’s immediate film after blockbuster Viswasam which grossed more than 130 cr in TN despite coming in clash with Petta. Nayanthara is playing superstar’s love interest and Keerthy Suresh is playing superstar’s sister in this village drama.

Rajamouli planned a massive intro for NTR
SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR is trying to wrap its entire shoot in May and complete post production formalities for a grand release in October. As everyone’s aware Rajamouli made a permanent impression on people with his taking of elevation scenes of heroes.
Per sources, SSR conceived a next level introduction for Young Tiger NTR. Young Tiger would be battling one on one with a tiger in a forest and it is said to be one of the major highlights of the movie. This scene would last more than ten minutes on screen. Surely, NTR fans can’t wait for RRR as they are sorely missing their favorite hero in action for three years.
Mahesh Fans Angry on Thaman
Music Director Thaman has been in full form after the chartbuster albums like Ala Vaikuntapuramuloo , Solo Bathuke So Better and also received good response for background scores for all his recent works. Mahesh Babu and Thaman’s collaborated again for SarkaruVaariPaata after Aagadu which took a near time of 7 years.
Team of Sarkaru Vaari Paata released a pre-look motion poster on the launch date and the background score for motion poster received excellent response from all section of audience. But Recently , Team Yuvaratnaa released third single “Paatashaala” from their album where Superstar Mahesh Babu fans found that the tune is exactly similar to Sarkaru Vaari Paata’s motion poster background work and within no time fans went berserk and were extremely furious over Thaman for doing this. Have to see whether Thaman is going to cool down all Mahesh fans by giving a chartbuster album again like he did for previous films or not. Thaman has almost completed the work last month and the film Sarkaru Vaari Paata is slated for January 2022 Release.
For the First Time, Distributors not interested in Pawan Kalyan’s Film
Tollywood was off to a flyer during Sankranthi 2020 and the industry was shut down from March with OTT taking over. Everyone was skeptical about the reception of films in theatres. Breaking all the doubts, even with 50% occupancy, Krack showed that Telugu audience will always be at the front to encourage good films. With Covid subsiding, GOI gave permission for 100% occupancy. February is typically considered as an off season for films but Uppena which released on February 12th with 100% occupancy broke the 8 year long record of Mirchi (47cr) by breaching 50cr mark which is an extraordinary feat for a small film.
With the kind of success Uppena received, Trade circles were anticipating the first big hero film to blast at the boxoffice. Pawan Kalyan who was away from films since 2018 is giving a comeback with Vakeel Saab which is slated to release on April 9th, the first big hero film from TFI. Natural expectation is that it would have humongous craze among trade circles as it is a comeback from the Powerstar after 3 years. But, surely that doesn’t looks like the case with Vakeel Saab.
Producer Dil Raju quoted 40cr for Andhra region which is not so high but still he distributors are not interested. For East Godavari, Dil Raju quoted 6.4cr and no distributor is willing to pay the price. If no one offers this price, Dil Raju decided to release the film on his own through Vintage Creations.
Vakeel Saab is produced by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor, Directed by Venu Sriram. It is a remake of Pink, Nerkonda Paarvai.

It has started very slow at the Box-office as the team failed to take this movie to the audience and there very 3 more releases on the same day. Virata Parvam Digital rights deal sealed for a fancy price
Virata Parvam is all set to release on April 30th, 2021. The film stars Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles with the likes of Priyamani, Naveen Chandra, Nivetha Pethuraj, and Sai Chand in supporting roles. Sai Chand has received accolades for his performance in the latest release, Check. Rana and Priyamani are playing the roles of naxalites..Virata Parvam is going to have a Naxal backdrop as the film is set in the 1990s when Naxal movement happened in Warangal region of Telangana state.
The movie is said to be a love story between a Naxalite and a normal girl. The film has been shot in Kerala forests, Vikarabad forests, and Warangal forests. The first glimpse of the film which released recently has received tremendous response from the audience. Due to the good buzz the film is carrying, the latest report is that the digital rights of 3 languages( Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam) have been sold to Netflix for a solid price of 11 crores with 50 days window post Theatrical release. The film is directed by Venu Udugula, who wrote the script based on his personal experiences which witnessing the Naxal movement in Warangal back in those days. Rana’s father, Suresh Babu and Sudhar Cherukuri are producing the film and Suresh Bobbili is scoring the music.
