Jathi Ratnalu has driven into the plot slowly with few entertainment episodes. Main leads Naveen, Darshi and Rahul have excelled in their characters to bring their best. Director Anudeep has handled the screenplay with few hiccups. As of now, Jathi Ratnalu has offered decent entertainment which may not work out with all sections of the audience. The second half should be carved better to get the audience entertained. Should see how it goes. Watch out for a complete review.

Story: In a village called Anantharajapuram, Ekambaram( Sai Kumar) gives loans to people at a high interest and buys their lands for low prices as farming doesn’t yield much profit. Karthik ( Sharwanand) is the son of a farmer Keshavulu( Rao Ramesh). Karthik works in a software company in the city and clears off his father’s debt. To the surprise of his father, he decides to go back to his village and do farming. Also, upon realizing the state of his relatives who do odd labor jobs in the city to make money, he comes up with a motivation to get back the culture of farming in the village. Chaitra( Priya Mohan) plays his love interest.

Performances: Sharwanand comes up with a very good performance and excels in emotional scenes. Priyanka Mohan is only there as the glamour doll and doesn’t have much scope. Comedy by Satya is good in parts. Rao Ramesh, Naresh, aamani, and Sai Kumar are good as usual. Rest of the artists have done their part.

Analysis: The film takes off slowly and the first half doesn’t get interesting till Sharwanand decides to take up farming. The second half is very well dealt with good emotions and the detailing about farming is explained well. The concept of Joint agriculture was well incorporated in the storyline. The point decline of farming across generations and the shortage of farmers was addressed very well towards the end of the film. Dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra are very good. Music by Mickey J Meyer is average but the folk song in 2nd half is impressive. Editing could have been better as the movie is a little slow. All other technical departments are very good. Debutante Director Kishore did a good job handling the emotions. Nowadays, many don’t consider taking farming as a career but the nation and the world need more farmers as there is a shortage. This point is well addressed. The movie can be watched for the detailing and emotions in 2nd half. The movie may not appeal to the youth audience and the box office will depend upon how the audience will receive the emotional scenes.

Universal Hero Kamal Haasan and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Vikram has created solid buzz right from the release of the teaser. Kamal’s look, Anirudh’s BGM and novel taking from Lokesh Kanagaraj has impressed both tamil and Telugu audience. The movie was supposed to be completed before Tn elections but it was delayed since Kamal had a leg surgery and was advised rest. The movie is set to start rolling most likely from May. Earlier, the buzz was that Fahad Fasil will play the antagonist. Now, the latest news is that famous choreographer and Director Raghava Lawrence is going to play the antagonist. Lawrence has done particularly well in Kanchana series impressing tamil and Telugu audience. It remains to see what type of role Lokesh will design for Lawrence. The movie is slated to be a political satire with a dark theme. Kamal is said to be playing a cop in the flashback episode. Reports are that Kamal will simultaneously shoot for Indian 2 and Vikram post Tn elections. It remains to be seen if Indian 2 will hit the screens before Vikram or vice-versa. Vikram is produced by Kamal himself on Raj Kamal Films banner and has music by Anirudh.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is actively signing and shooting for films. Currently, he has Vakeel Saab, PSPK27, Ayyapanum Koshiyum remake, PSPK28, and PSPK29 in his kitty. He is going to be working with dynamic director Harish Shankar and stylish Director Surender Reddy for PSPK28 and PSPK29 respectively. Now the latest news is that he is going to be working with Puri Jagannadh and this is likely to be his 30th film.

Pawan was the one who introduced Puri to the Telugu industry with Badri film. The film Badri brought good craze in youth for Pawan Kalyan in those days. Later, puri and Pawan worked together for Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu which was an average fare. We have to see what’s in store for this crazy project. Bandla Ganesh is all set to make a comeback as a producer for this project. PK fans will be excited as he is going to be working with notable directors such as Krish, Harish Shankar, Surender Reddy, and puri Jagannath after working with small directors such as Venu Sriram and Sagar K Chandra. The much-hyped and anticipated project Jana Gana Mana failed to take off after Puri announced it in his Twitter account. Since there are differences between Mahesh and puri, the project failed to materialize. There were many rumors circling in the film nagar that Puri will direct this film with Rocking Star Yash but now sources say that he is likely to do his dream project, Jana Gana Mana, with Pawan Kalyan.

At one point, there were more bouncers on the stage than the cast & crew. But, even with so many bouncers fans were able to easily reach bunny on stage. AV’s for heroes are usually exaggerated but Bunny’s AV was on a different level with even boasting about social media, Lyrical video views and TRP records.

End of the day, it looks like the PR team of Bunny is working very hard to project him as a Big Star. Undoubtedly, Bunny is one of the biggest stars of TFI but this projection by his PR team is backfiring with netizens including mega fans trolling such incidents. Hope Bunny and his PR realize that being humble is what defines a star and stardom.
