No Buyers for Pan India Film!

Mosagallu is a upcoming film starring Manchu Vishnu in the lead role. This film started it’s shoot long back and is now gearing up for release on 19th March. Mosagallu will have a pan India release in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada languages. This film story is based on one the Biggest Scam which took place in India. Kajal Agarwal, Sunil Shetty, Navadeep and Naveen Chandra are noted cast in this film.

Manchu Vishnu has produced this film under 24 Frams Factory in association with AVA Entertainment. The film has been in post-production for more than a year and recently in a promotional interview Vishnu has revealed that this film has been made with more than 50Crs budget. The trailer of this film was launched by Mega Star Chiranjeevi last week and Vishnu is trying his best to take this film closer to audience. Sadly no distributor has come forward for the theatrical release and Vishnu has decided to release this film on his own in all languages. To consider this film as profitable venture it needs to collect atleast 60% of its budget which is a hectic task considering his market. The team of Mosagallu has screened 10mins sneak peek of the film to few selected audience and media people as part of promotion.

I must say that the direction, screenplay, acting and every craft was amazing but the writing is something else which is world standard. The first part itself is a masterpiece fir the second one to come up with a story line that seemlessly mergers with the first, with same gripping narration short of brilliance. Hoping to see many more masterpieces from you…” This message was going viral on social media which was shared by Jeethu Joseph.. Currently, Jeethu Joseph ia remaking the second part in Telugu with Victory Venkatesh which will release in second galf of 2021..

Nelson Dilipkumar is directing #thalapathy65 which is produced by Sun Pictures and has music by Anirudh and cinemaphotography by Manoj Paramahamsa. In addition , she is also doing a small role in Acharya for which she is getting paid 1.5 cr. She will be seen romancing Ram Charan in that film. Currently , she has the most demand for any actress in south India which is why she is getting handsome paychecks.

Story: The film is set up in Araku where Gaali Sampath (Rajendra Prasad) and his son Soori (Sree Vishnu) lives together. Rajendra Prasad dream is to become an actor but due to a accident his vocal cords gets damaged and loses his ability to speak. With few incidents Soori gets in troubles because of Sampath and even spoils Soori dream of buying a own truck. After Soori’s love marriage gets cancelled due to a mistake by Sampath there comes the disputes between father and son. Accidentally one day Sampath falls in a trench and the rest of the story is how he manages to come out from it.

Performance: Undoubtedly Rajendra Prasad’s performance as Gaali Sampath will be remained as one of the best performer in recent times. Sree Vishnu also came up with decent performance as an aspiring son who always gets disappointed with his fathers act. Comedian Satya has done his part for the given role.

Analysis: Though the concept of the film is not bad the screenplay which is provided by director Anil Ravipudi has backfired with outdated narration and too many boring elements through out the runtime. The second half of the film is bit ok when compared with the first half. Usually in a father son relation there needs to be a good emotional connect and the director has failed to show that on screen.

Verdict: On a whole Anil Ravipudi and his team could not create the magic which is shown in the Trailer. You can watch it only for the performance by the lead cast.

Box-Office Estimation: Gaali Sampath should collect 6.5 Cr for breakeven. With the low buzz and Mixed reviews achieving breakeven mark is an hurricane task. Opening day share will be less than 1Cr . The film May ended up as loss Venture
