RRR is undoubtedly the most awaited Telugu film after Bahubali-The Conclusion, but due to the rise in COVID-19 cases, the makers had to hold back the release of the film.
Naturally, the film has had many offers from leading OTT platforms to release the film directly on OTT. But, the makers of the film have held firm on only a theatrical release. NTR, Rajamouli, and Ram Charan have promised producer DVV Danayya that this decision will bear success eventually.
Danayya has been getting a lot of pressure from financiers and OTT companies but he has not backed down. He is confident that the movie will do exponentially better in theatres than on OTT. Danayya needs to be commended for his faith in the project because 500 crores in today’s market is a lot of money.
Ram Charan and NTR have also reassured Danayya that they will take remunerations only after the release of the film.
RRR also stars Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in prominent roles. MM Keeravani is the music director of the film. The cinematography is by Senthil Kumar.
