Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy was released on 24th December 2021 just before the start of the third wave in India. The film opened to mostly positive reviews and decent collections. The film has performed decently well at the box office too, collecting 40+crores as of now. It is heading towards the hit status.
The film has time till 14th January to collect more money in theatres, after which Bangarraju will release in theatres. the film is expected to end at the 50 crore mark, which is impressive for a film that was released with competition from Pushpa-The Rise.
Shyam Singha Roy has now been given an OTT release date. The film will stream on Netflix exclusively from January 21st. The digital rights and satellite rights of the film were acquired for a whopping price.
The film also stars Sai Pallavi, Krithi Shetty, Rahul Ravindran, and Madonna Sebastian in prominent roles. Rahul Sankrityan is the director of the movie, and Venkat Boyanapalli has produced the film. Mickey J Meyers is the music director of the film. Sanu John Varghese is the cinematographer of the movie.
