Bhumika says a big no to Bigg Boss!

Actress Bhumika Chawla is a well-known face across multiple film industries. She started her career as a lead actress and was a part of blockbusters like Okkadu, Kushi, Simhadri, etc. Of late she has graduated to character roles and has carved quite a niche for herself.

While she is not signing back to back movies these days, she has kept herself reasonably busy and is a prominent feature in Tollywood films.

Recently rumours have been surfacing that the ‘MCA’ actress has given her approval for the upcoming reality show Bigg Boss 5 in Telugu. The actress took to social media and rubbished the rumours saying that she is an extremely private person and would like to keep things that way.

“FAKE NEWS, No I have not been offered Big Boss, no won’t do it if offered. I was offered season one, two, three and later some time again and I refused to do all. I have not been offered this time and I still won’t do it. I am a public personality -but Am very private to have cameras on me 24/7,” tweeted Bhumika about the rumours circulating.

Prashanth Neel is one of the biggest names in Tollywood as well as Sandalwood. His KGF: Chapter One has catapulted him to massive stardom. Presently, he is one of the most sought-after directors in Tollywood with 2 big releases after KGF: Chapter Two lined up.

Prashanth is presently busy with Prabhas starrer Salaar. This action thriller co- starring Shruti Haasan will be shot simultaneously in Telugu and Kannada and will be dubbed in Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam. Apart from this Prashanth also confirmed a movie wit Jr NTR recently.

The announcement carried the lines “The only soil that is worth remembering is the one soaked in blood!!”, this means the movie is going to be an out and out action entertainer. The duo have been in talks for the movie for quite some time.

With two big-budget projects along with Yash starrer KGF: Chapter Two under his belt in the coming days, a number of reports on his remuneration have cropped up.

Recently, it was rumoured that Prashanth Neel is charging in the range of Rs 20 crores per movie and is the highest-paid director in the Kannada film industry.

The director commenting on this issue recently said, “It’s my personal matter. I don’t believe that I am highest paid director right now.  I don’t think it should be something that is discussed in the first place.”

Meanwhile, there is also a strong rumour that the blockbuster director might team up with a Mega hero after the film with Jr NTR. An official confirmation on the same is awaited.

Super Star Mahesh Babu while gearing up for his next film Sarkaru Vaari Paata. He is also simultaneously planning his future projects quite carefully. Post the Parasuram directorial, he will move on to his next with Trivikram. This will be the third film for Mahesh Babu and Trivikram after Athadu and Khaleja.

Amidst this buzz for his future projects, a new rumour has started surfacing that director AR Murugadoss has approached the Super Star for a multistarrer. The duo had earlier worked together on Spyder. Sources close to the Mahesh have stated that there is no truth to these reports floating around. Any plans for future projects will be officially communicated said the source.

The Sarkaru Vaari Paata unit is keeping an eye on the situation and is raring to go with the rest of the schedules. Even Super Star Mahesh is prepping for the shoot and is eager to get back on the sets.

The team is planning to resume filming by July end provided the conditions improve all over. Mahesh will shoot for some crucial action sequences in this upcoming schedule

Ram Charan appreciates fans’ efforts amidst Covid

Mega Power Star Ram Charan took to social media to appreciate the efforts of his fans who have stepped up to serve the needy during the pandemic. The ‘Rangasthalam’ star himself has been at the centre of a number of relief efforts during this situation.

Earlier last month Ram Charan, along with Mega Star Chiranjeevi set up an oxygen bank across various districts in AP and Telangana. He said that he was moved by multiple similar initiatives by his fans.

“I have been closely watching the fans step up and strive hard to give back to society during the pandemic. From being the first to react to distress calls to taking various initiatives, you all did it with great devotion,” said Ram Charan.

Nithin is treading cautiously after the failure of his releases Check and RangDe earlier this year. The actor reportedly is taking extra care of his future releases. His upcoming film Power Peta is facing delays because of this approach. The action drama was supposed to go on floors last year but has faced continuous delays because of the lockdown.

Another thing reportedly bothering Nithiin is the similarities in the storylines of Power Peta and Sharwanand’s upcoming film Mahasamudram. Mahasamudram is slated for an August release.

Nithin wants to ensure there are no similarities between the two, he’s asked the director Krishna Chaitanya to wait till Mahasamudram releases. Post this, necessary changes may be made to the Nithiin starrer

“Moreover, the date diary of the leading lady Keerthy Suresh is extremely packed. She is supposed to simultaneously shoot for Sarkaru Vaari Paata with Mahesh Babu as well as another Tamil film before joining the sets of Power Peta. Since the shooting schedules of those two films have also been postponed due to pandemic, her date diary has also been chaotic,” informs a source.

Meanwhile, the actor has okayed Vakkantham Vamsi’s script for producer Tagore Madhu. The film will go on floors after the lockdown.
