Sathyaraj hospitalized after testing Covid positive

The Siddhu Jonalagadda starrer DJ Tillu is reportedly getting a change in its release date. Originally scheduled to release on 14th January, the makers are opting for a change in dates.

Apart from the obvious entertainer Bangarraju, DJ Tillu stands next in line, with a quirky teaser and first glimpse. The film promises an entertaining watch in theatres. Siddhu, who is the main lead has also written the screenplay for the film.

The makers of DJ Tillu are reportedly opting for a change in release date due to the release of Bangarraju. They are looking to push the date to 15th January to stay clear of Bangarraju.

The makers need to confirm on a date soon. The movie will face stiff competition from the other Sankranthi releases too. Two other young actors are also being launched this Sankranthi. Ashok Galla with Hero and Ashish with Rowdy Boys. At the end of the day, the content will be King.

Bangarraju team is worried about Covid cases

Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya starrer Bangarraju have turned out to be the dark horse for Sankranti releases. The film, that was once considered least likely to succeed has suddenly become the frontrunner due to the postponement of RRR and Radhe Shyam. This brought great glee to the entire Bangarraju team.

The film has also been doing a solid pre-release business filling the pockets of Zee Studios and Annapurna Studios. The makers of the film Zee Studios are quoting a ratio of Rs 12 crores for Andhra and Rs 5 crores for Ceeded. According to estimates, just Telugu states business is expected to be in excess of Rs 25 cr.

However, now the distributors are backing out with the fear of occupancy restrictions coming in. AP is reportedly plannning for 50% occupancy and night curfew. Telangana might also follow the same with the Covid cases rising at an alarming speed.

These latest developments have caused the distributors to go for re-adjustments of the business. The situation has suddenly developed from a complete positive one to a worrying for the Bangarraju team.

Kalyan Krishna is directing this project which is a prequel to the 2016 socio fantasy Soggade Chinni Nayana. Naga Chaitanya will be teaming up with Nagarjuna for the other lead role.

Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi recently watched the Aha original thriller Senapathi and could not hold back praises. Both the mage actors took to their Instagrams to share their thoughts and experience watching the movie.
