Looks like Akkineni fans will have to wait for some more time to catch Naga Chaitanya on screen. Naga Chaitanya’s Thank You which was earlier scheduled to release on July 8th has now been pushed to a July 22 release date.
While the reason for postponment is not clear, it is presumed that this movie was made to create more space and buzz for the movie. The makers had earlier this month released the first song ‘Maaro Maaro’ from the movie. It failed to evoke any excitement and failed in gaining any interest from general audience.
The teaser of the film was unveiled recently and it featured Chaitu in multiple looks and evoked great interest. Thank You is a coming-of-age story that follows the journey of a young and successful man who is on a path to find himself. BVS Ravi has written the story while SS Thaman will be composing the music for this project.
Naga Chaitanya will be teaming up with Vikram Kumar for the second time in his career with this film. The actor-director duo is also working together on a web-series Dootha. Rashi Khanna has been roped in to play the lead role in the film. The film also stars young actors Avika Gor, Sai Sushant Reddy and Malvika Nair in key roles.
