Balakrishna and Talasani Srinivas’ strong comments on the tickets issue

Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is on a career-high after Akhanda has responded to the ongoing tickets pricing issue in Andhra Pradesh. He said that the callousness shown towards the film industry is quite sad and that industry must work together to resolve this ongoing problem. Balakrishna further extended his full support to any force or body that is looking to resolve the issue and said that entire Tollywood must unite to ensure this problem ends at the earliest.

Telangana Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav also shared his view on the issue and said that the film industry in Telangana has always looked to unite everyone. He said that cinema is a medium that transcends the cast, creed, gender, and religious barriers and that the Telangana government has worked continuously in this direction.

“The tickets hikes allowed in Telangana is proof of how much the state cares for the well-being of the industry. We also gave permission for fifth shows and movies like Akhanda and Pushpa did full justice to that and revived the industry.

Speaking about the situation in AP, Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that he will speak to the authorities in Andhra Pradesh and look for a timely resolution on the matter.

Popular music label Tips industries have acquired the audio rights for two of the biggest Telugu films. The films will also be released in other languages on a Pan-Indian level. Tips industries have acquired the audio rights in all 5 languages.

They have acquired the audio rights for Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which is Pawan Kalyan’s biggest film in terms of scale and language. This is the Powerstars’ first Pan-Indian release. Krish Jagarlamudi is the director of the film.

Tips have also bagged the audio rights for Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Shakunthalam, which is also Samantha’s biggest film in terms of scale and language. It is a fantasy period drama, centered around Shakunthala played by Samantha. Gunasekhar is the director of the film.

Tips have previously produced music for some of the biggest Bollywood films like the Race franchise, Bhoot Police, and so on. But, this is their first entry into the South Indian market. It will be interesting to see how this collaboration turns out.

Naga Chaitanya is currently busy with the promotions of his Sankranthi release- Bangarraju. During an interview for the same, a reporter asked Naga Chaitanya about his divorce from Samantha. Things could’ve easily turned ugly, but the actor kept his cool and answered the question like a gentleman.

He replied by saying, “Ultimately we did what we thought was the best decision for the both of us. This decision is the best for both of us.” He also went on to add that as long as Samantha is happy I am happy too.

Naga Chaitanya had every right to lash out at the reporter for asking such a question, but his maturity as a human being really showed. Naga Chaitanya handled the questions about his divorce with Samantha like a champ.

The runtime of Hero has been locked, and it is a surprising one. The runtime of Ashok Galla’s Hero is 2 hours and 10 minutes. This is a low runtime for a commercial film, with fighting, action, romance, and so on. But this might very well work in the favor of the movie as a crisp runtime means a more engaging film.

The director of the film, Sriram Aditya has said positive things about the film. This is what he had to say about the film:

The shooting of Mahesh Babu starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata was halted a couple of weeks ago due to Mahesh Babu’s knee injury. Mahesh was supposed to resume shooting as soon as he was back from the injury. But, unfortunately, Mahesh has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and is under home isolation at the moment.

The team had already planned a schedule in Vizag, and could not cancel it due to the money spent on cast and crew. The shooting of the film is underway with side artists. A few scenes are being shot with Mahesh Babu’s dupe. This decision has been made so that the film can release on the scheduled date without any postponement.

Keerthy Suresh, who plays the heroine opposite Mahesh in Sarkaru Vaari Paatu has also tested positive for the virus. She will also be back for the shooting of Sarkaru Vaari Paata as soon as she recovers. Thaman S, the music director of the film has also tested positive for the virus but tested negative again yesterday.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata also stars Vennela Kishore and Subbaraju among others. Parasuram Petla is the director of the movie. Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar have produced the film under their banner- Mythri Movies.

The duo previously collaborated for the blockbuster Annayya in 2000, where coincidentally Ravi Teja played Chiranjeevi’s brother. This combination will surely be a mass feast for the fans.

AP Government favours Bangarraju and delays its decision

Nagarjuna’s Bangarraju is all set to hit the screens on January 14th. The ground is clear for this Akkineni mulistarrer to score a Sankranti hit and with no other biggie releasing for the festival, that chances of success look quite bright. There was one obstacle that came in which is now cleared.

The Andhra Pradesh government had announced that it will implement a night curfew and occupancy restrictions. Such was the seriousness on the issue that AP I&PR Minister Perni Nani even asked the Sankranti movies to push the release dates.

Now, all of a sudden that game has changed, and the government which suggested films to be postponed had now postponed the plans of night curfew and occupancy restrictions.

Many industry observers are now stating that this move has been made keeping Nagarjuna’s interests in mind. The ‘Bangarraju’ actor has been a vocal supporter of the current regime and has not made a single statement on the ongoing AP tickets issue which is troubling the industry.

He in fact made statements that were supportive of the government and hence he has received these favors, claim close sources.

Nagarjuna maintains very good relations with AP Government and now It has helped him a great way. The government has instructed and given the makers of Bangarraju a free hand and they will not be involved in it during the Sankranti days.
