Looking at the backdrop, it was evident that they met in a restaurant. Right now Mahesh Babu is on a long vacation with his family. Right now, the family is in the US, and Mahesh Babu came across Bill Gates.
On Wednesday, Mahesh tweeted the pic saying “had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Bill Gates! One of the greatest visionaries this world has seen… and yet the most humble! Truly an inspiration!!”

He also followed Mahesh Babu on both Instagram and Twitter. On Instagram he shared Mahesh’s post in a story saying “great minds eat alike, I enjoyed meeting you and Namratha.” This exchange between Bill Gates and Mahesh took social media on a storm. It was nice seeing both interacting.
Keeping that aside, Bill Gates has also followed Mahesh Babu on Instagram and Twitter. Mahesh is the first actor from India that he is following on Instagram and this indeed is a proud moment for TFI.
