తెలంగాణ సినిమాటోగ్రఫీ శాఖ మంత్రి తలసాని శ్రీనివాస్ యాదవ్ కూడా ఈ విషయంపై తన అభిప్రాయాన్ని పంచుకున్నారు మరియు తెలంగాణ చిత్ర పరిశ్రమ ఎల్లప్పుడూ అందరినీ ఏకం చేయాలని చూస్తుందని అన్నారు. సినిమా అనేది కుల, మత, లింగ, మతపరమైన అడ్డంకులకు అతీతమైన మాధ్యమమని, ఈ దిశగా తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం నిరంతరం కృషి చేసిందని అన్నారు.

The silence of the Mega Heroes’ on Kalyaan Dhev’s Super Machi is quite shocking. Usually, when a hero from the Mega family is nearing his movie release, the total family is a part of the promotions of the film. But this time around, there has been no presence of any Mega hero for Kalyaan Dhev’s Super Machi.

We’ve seen prime examples of the support of Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and others before. When Varun Tej was launched, all mega heroes were part of the promotions. When Panja Vaishnav Tej was launched for Uppena, Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun, Varun Tej, all attended the launch event.

Taking the above into consideration, the silence from the Mega heroes on Kalyaan Dhev’s Super Machi is quite shocking. It is also not like the mega heroes have stopped promoting other films. Just yesterday, Ram Charan was at the audio function of Dil Raju’s nephew Ashish’s debut film- Rowdy Boys. Ram Charan is also gracing the pre-release event of Mahesh Babu’s nephew Ashok Galla’s debut film- Hero.

This has led to speculations of whether Kalyaan Dhev has separated from the Mega family. It also might be Kalyaan’s choice to stay independent and work on his own. Nonetheless, we hope that everything is okay among the family members.

Karthikeya’s Raja Vikramarka was released on 12th November 2021 in theatres. The film opened to mixed reviews which led to poor collections at the box office. This continued Karthikeya’s poor showing at the collection boxes, after the failures of 90ML, Hippi, and the 2021 release Chaavu Kaburu Chalaga.

Nonetheless, Raja Vikramarka is now finally streaming on OTT. The film is streaming on the SUN NXT OTT platform from today.

The story of Raja Vikramaka revolves around a newly appointed officer, Karthikeya. He has to deal with a major case while learning on the job. How his decisions impact his life and the situations around him forms the rest of the story.

The film also stars Tanya Ravichander, Harsha Vardhan, and Sai Kumar among others. Sri Saripalli is the director of the movie, and Rama Reddy has produced the film under Sree Chitra Movie Makers.

Karthikeya’s next film to hit the theatres will be the Ajith starrer Valimai which will see Karthikeya playing the role of an antagonist. Panja Vaishnav Tej’s next project has been announced and it’s surely going to be a grand one. The film billed as Production No.16 will be bankrolled under Sithara Entertainments banner and its’ expected to have solid cast and crew which will surely surprise many.

The announcement was made by Sithara Entertainments on social media on the occasion of Panja Vaishnav Tej’s birthday. The young mega hero is celebrating his 32nd birthday today. Vaishnav Tej got off to a flying start with blockbuster Uppena. The film shattered many existing records and went on to record the highest ever collections for a debut in Tollywood. The success of Uppena has led to multiple offers for Vaishnav Tej.

Finally, AP Government wants to put the end to tickets price issue?

The AP Government’s decision and subsequent G.O.s on the ticket pricing have given the film industry quite a few sleepless nights. A number of discussions were done on the issue and both sides issued quite a few contrasting statements over the last 9 months.

Now, it appears that the issue might actually come to an end. AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy will be meeting Megastar Chiranjeevi today afternoon. The duo will be discussing the concerns of the industry over a lunch meeting in Amaravati. Among these concerns, the ticket pricing issue will be of top most priority.

Megastar Chiranjeevi who has so far maintained a diplomatic stance on the ongoing ticket issue lashed out at the AP Government a couple of months ago. Speaking on the issue, Chiranjeevi reminded the AP government that their term is for 5 years only while that of a cine actor is timeless.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata is one of the most anticipated films from Tollywood this year. The hype for this action entertainer is at an all-time high. Both Mahesh and Parasuram have confirmed that this film will present Mahesh in a vintage style. It has been revealed that Sarkaru Vaari Paata will feature him in the Pokiri vibe. Ram Charan gives a smart statement about RRR postponement

RRRs postponement has been one of the biggest talking points of Tollywood. This much-awaited magnum opus has been in making for quite a long time and underwent four release date changes so far.

Initially planned for 30th July 2020, the movie then moved to 8th Jan 2021. From this date, it was pushed to 13th October 2021 and then it moved from 7th January and then even further. These many delays have made both distributors as well as fans quite anxious

Speaking about the delay on the project, Ram Charan said, “We are not worried that the film could not release for Sankranti. That was something not in our hands. We have worked really hard and for many years on the film. The film will release at the best time possible.”

The film due to its continuous delays is now receiving massive offers from OTT platforms. However, the trio of Rajamouli, NTR, and Ram Charan is quite confident of the product, and under no condition would give up their dream for an OTT release.

RRR postponement has left fans in dejection. Rajamouli, however, is certain that whenever the movie is released, it will surely create a record streak at the box office.

Aha Tamil Launching On January 28th

Aha was launched in March of 2020 by Allu Arjun and Allu Aravind. It holds the right of the first Telugu OTT platform with all exclusive Telugu content. They have been quite successful in their short tenure.

Now there are bigger and better things ahead for Aha. They recently announced Aha 2.0 where a film would release every Friday. They have been upping their levels constantly and this is another addition to their brand.

In their latest announcement, Aha is entering the Tamil market with Aha Tamil, which will include Tamil content exclusively. Aha Tamil is launching on January 28th. Allu Aravind also has plans to enter the North markets in the near future.

Allu Arjun is the brand ambassador for Aha Telugu. It will be interesting to see if Allu Arjun will be the brand ambassador for Aha Tamil due to his reach in Tamil Nadu after Pushpa-The Rise, or whether they will pick a top star in Tamil Nadu. The sky is the limit now.

Top producer lashes out at YCP MLA

The row of comments between the AP Government and Tollywood is escalating day by day with both sides making strong statements against each other. Right after YCP MLA Prasanna Kumar Reddy’s controversial statement, the Telugu Film Producers Council issued a statement. The Kovur MLA during a meeting said that the film industry is full of arrogant individuals who just seek to fill their pockets. The entire industry is based out of Hyderabad, then why should AP Government look to help them.

In a strongly-worded statement, TFPC stated that:

“It is unfortunate that the honorable MLA has such an impression of the film industry. The success rate in the film industry is 2-5%. Film producers spend crores of rupees to make films and more often than not, they suffer huge losses. There are a few producers who have lost everything and are taking a pension amount of Rs 3000 per month from the Producers’ council. That is how dire the situation can be. It is not right to speak ill of the film industry and its people,” said the statement.

Now, producer NV Prasad has also released a rather strong statement on the Kovur MLA and said that the minister’s statements are rather irresponsible and made out of half-knowledge. He welcomed the MLA to come to the film sets once and see the hard work that it takes to make a film.

NV Prasad also added that the film industry towards the resolution of the problem and has been following all the guidelines of every G.O. It is also abiding by the decisions made by the committee formed to resolve the issue. In such a situation, co-operation from the government would be the best way to resolve the issue and such statements would only worsen the situation.
