Radhe Shyam to have record release for an Indian film

Prabhas’ most anticipated film Radhe Shyam is finally going to hit the screens next month. The film is scheduled to release on March 11th and the makers are planning a massive release. The film will have the biggest ever release for an Indian film.

Prabhas’ shot to pan India fame with Baahubali series and continued with an impressive show with Saaho in the Hindi market. This is why for the Hindi version alone, the film will have a release in 3700 + screens in north India alone.

Similarly, the makers are ensuring a wide release in Telugu across the screens worldwide. This pan-India project will release in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam as well.

Radha Krishna has directed Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam while UV Creations and T Series have jointly produced the film. Justin Prabhakaran is the music director of the film, and Thaman S has scored the background music of the film.

UV Creations had earlier stated that the film will hit the screens only on January 14th and there will be no change to hit. However, changing scenarios in the country and continuous shutting down of theatres across states have made it impossible to go for a pan-India release.

Radhe Shyam is the first in the series of pan-India biggies lined up for Prabhas. After this, the ‘Young Rebel Star’ has ‘Salaar’, ‘Aadipurush’, ‘Project K’ and Spirit lined up.

Finally, there’s good news for movie lovers looking to book movie tickets online. The issue between the Telangana distributors and online ticket booking portals has come to an end.

The reason Tollywood distributors are boycotting these portals is because of heavy convenience charges levied for every ticket. This charge is around 10% and varies from one portal to another. Now the distributors and exhibitors are demanding a share from these convenience charges taken from the ticket buyer. 

Fortunately, both the parties have reached a settlement on the issues and the bookings have opened on all online ticketing portals for Bheemla Nayak.

For Bheemla Naayak, the Telangana distributors stated that there will be no online bookings. The tickets were sold at counters only like in the earlier days. The online booking for this Pawan Kalyan starrer opened on 19th February. Now with the issue settled, fans in Nizam can book tickets online.

After much suspense and delay, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak trailer was released a short while ago. The 2 minutes 37 seconds long trailer didn’t release at the stipulated time of 8:10 PM much to fans’ disappointment and was released sometime later.

Coming to the trailer, it has evoked mixed reactions from the netizens. Thaman’s BGM and editing appeared underwhelming and the final trailer cut also appeared slightly rushed. The clash between Bheemla Nayak and Daniel Shekar was well captured and Nithya Menen had some powerful scenes. Rana Daggubati looked terrific in the entire trailer and we are surely in for another powerful performance from him.

While the story of the movie is known to all, there are slight changes made according to Telugu nativity. The film will also be packed with more commercial elements than the original Malayalam version. Despite this, the trailer failed to provide a single high moment for the viewers.

Overall, Pawan Kalyan dominated the entire Bheemla Nayak trailer and we hope the movie proves to be the mass action entertainer that the fans are wishing from Powerstar. The movie is all set to release worldwide on 25th February. The advance bookings and overseas pre-sales are showing signs of massive opening numbers.

Sagar K Chandra has directed this film while Trivikram has handled the screenplay. Nithya Menen, Rana Daggubati, and Samyuktha Menon will be seen in key roles in this film

The first look of Balakrishna from NBK107 raises new doubts

The first look of Balakrishna’s upcoming film with Gopichand Malineni was released earlier today. The poster featured Balayya in a rugged look wearing a black shirt, brown lungi with a quarry backdrop. This poster has received great response but has also raised a few doubts.

Fans are now speculating that based on this poster, NBK107 might be a remake of Kannada super hit ‘Mufti’ that released in 2017. The film featured Shivarajkumar as a gang lord and Murali as an undercover cop and was a massive success at the box office.

Gopichand Malineni has claimed that NBK107 is based on true events. There is a possibility that the remake has been adapted to local sensibilities. There is also a possibility that this is an original story. The director has clarified that this is going to be an action entertainer with mass elements to suit Balayya’s image. Gopichand Mallineni has done extensive research for the script.

Shruti Haasan will star opposite Balakrishna in this project. This will be her third film with the director after Balupu and Krack. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar will also star in this project which will be backed by Mythri Movie Makers.

Pawan Kalyan direct counter to Jagan behaviour with Chiranjeevi on tickets issue

Pawan Kalyan tore into YCP and its governance at a public meet held at Narsapur in West Godavari on Sunday. The actor and Janasena chief was speaking at the event demanding a rollback of the G.O 217 which facilitates the auctioning of fish tanks in the state.

Pawan also gave a direct counter to AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy on his style of functioning. “They only create problems and later create a solution for the problem and pretend as the saviors,” said the actor.

“Everyone must spread their arms in front of them and showcase obedience. No matter how big and respected a person is, Jagan will make everyone suffer to satisfy his ego,” said Pawan Kalyan referring to his elder brother Chiranjeevi’s recent meeting on tickets pricing issue with the AP CM.

The film industry has been suffering from the tickets pricing G.O and many meetings and representations have been made to Jaganmohan Reddy to resolve this issue.

The Powerstar is currently gearing up for the release of his next movie Bheemla Nayak. The movie is all set to release on February 25th worldwide.

Pushpa wins the film of the year award

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa has added another feather to its cap. The action entertainer that released last year has received the ‘Film of the Year’ award Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards. The award ceremony was held in Mumbai on Sunday.

Ranveer Singh won the best actor award while Kriti Sanon won the best actress award. The Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards is the first award for Pushpa this year and the fans are hoping this Allu Arjun starrer will go on to bag many more in 2022.

Rashmika Mandanna starred opposite Allu Arjun in this action entertainer.

Samantha’s stunning Shaakuntalam first look poster released

The makers of Samantha’s upcoming mythological drama Shaakuntalam first look poster was released earlier today. The actress looks stunning draped in a white saree with a forest backdrop and animals surrounding her.

Samantha’s Shaakuntalam shoot was wrapped up last year and not much has been heard about the film ever since. The film’s shoot was completed in record time and director Gunasekhar seems to be quite happy with the output. as reported earlier, the Shaakuntalam first look indeed resembles a painting and has got quite a classical touch to it.

Malayalam actress Aditi Balan, who earlier impressed the audience with her powerful role in Aruvi will be seen in a crucial role in Shaakuntalam as well. 

The movie is based on the play Shakuntala written by Kalidasa and will be a pan-India release. The titular role is being played by Samantha while Dev Mohan will be playing the role of Dushyant. Mohan Babu will be essaying the character of Dhruva Maharshi.

This will be Gunasekhar’s first movie in 7 years after the 2015 period drama ‘Rudhramadevi’. Samantha’s first look has caught everyone’s fancy with the poster receiving great applause.

Bheemla Nayak pre-release event canceled

The much-awaited pre-release event of Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak has been canceled. The makers of the movie took this decision after the sudden demise of AP Industries and IT Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy. As a mark of respect to the minister, Sithara Entertainments confirmed a while ago that the event won’t be happening today.

Mekapati Goutham Reddy, 50 died of a heart attack. He was rushed to Apollo Hospitals in Hyderabad after he collapsed at his home in the early hours today.

Bheemla Nayak pre-release event was supposed to happen today evening at the Yousufguda Police Grounds. Telangana IT Minister KTR was invited as the Chief Guest for this event. The movie’s much-awaited trailer was also supposed to be launched today evening.

With just four days to go for the release, it needs to be seen if the event would happen in next couple of days or will we see a direct release.

Bangarraju smashes all records

Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya’s multi starrrer Bangarraju has made a successful premiere on OTT platform. The film was released on Zee 5 on 18th February and shattered the opening viewership record.

The film released during the Sankranti season and did a decent job at the box-office. Nagarjuna, however, was extremely elated at the film’s OTT performance. He was visibly quite excited at the achievement of Bangarraju and shared his happiness on social media.

The film also stars Krithi Shetty and Ramya Krishna in important roles. Kalyan Krishna has directed this project which is a prequel to the 2016 socio fantasy Soggade Chinni Nayana. Annapurna Studios and ZEE5 Studios have co-produced the movie while Anup Rubens composed the music.
