Chiranjeevi and other stars are just jokers in Jagan’s mindgame

0

The AP tickets pricing issue has taken more twists and turns than a regular Tollywood thriller. Right from day one, there have been countless statements, meetings, and committees set up to solve a problem that was created by the government itself. Chiranjeevi and other film industry bigwigs entered the field to resolve the issue which still hasn’t got any solution.

There was no problem with ticket rates for the AP government before Vakeel Saab. The whole issue started because of personal rivalries. The AP government put the entire industry in a difficult position due to its ego. With no other choice, multiple meetings were conducted on the issue, and top producers and the stars started requesting the government for their cooperation.

Jaganmohan Reddy used this situation well and invited Chiranjeevi to discuss on industry problems. He even promised that the issues will be sorted out during their first meeting . Soon after this, the AP Chief Minister invited all the leading stars for a meeting and projected himself as a well-wisher of the industry. Jagan again promised speedy solutions and in return demanded a few things in return such as shifting the TFI to Vizag.

Post this meeting, everyone expected the revised GO to be released in one week or two. Now, it’s been three weeks since the high-profile meeting and there is still no update. In addition to this, his government has instructed the theater owners to follow the GO strictly for Bheemla Naayak.

In the end, the person who created the problems is getting praise from the industry for taking the initiative to solve the issue. This is happening despite everyone already knowing Jagan directly targeted Pawan Kalyan movies due to personal vendetta.

The GO will be out after Bheemla Nayak’s first-week run. In the meantime, the troupe of Chiranjeevi and co. were taken for a ride for political brownies by Jagan who played a mind game with our stars

Profits Of Low Budget Films Are Bigger Than Pan-India Films For Makers

0

Usually, when producers and makers invest in a high-budget film, they take huge risks in the hope of huge rewards. But more often than not, these movies end up failing to recover the money spent and makers face huge losses.

For these Pan-India and high-budget films, the films always release in deficits mostly. We have seen this for Bahubali-1, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, and Pushpa: The Rise also.

Except for Bahubali-1, all the other films have failed to give huge profits to the makers. Although Pushpa did immensely well in the North, it posted average collections in the Telugu states. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy was shot on a budget of 270+ crores but failed to recover its money back and ended up as a flop.

But if we take a look at low-budget films, they are highly profitable for the makers. This is the reason why ace producers invest in small-scale movies so that they can use the profits for big-budget films. DJ Tillu was shot on a meager budget of 10 crores and is currently running at profits of 4+crores.

Pawan Kalyan’s recent films, Vakeel Saab and Bheemla Nayak are prime examples of this. Both the films were made on a budget of 100 crores, 150 crores including Pawan Kalyan’s remuneration and movie rights. The makers have acquired table profits for both these movies.

Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevaru is also a prime example of this. It was shot on a low budget and the returns were huge. Now Prabhas is also making a film with Maruthi on a low budget. Despite the content in the film, the makers will get ample table profits.

Bad Trailer Cut Doesn’t Affect Bheemla Nayak Bookings Rage

0

Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak trailer was released yesterday and received mixed responses from audiences. Even the fans of Pawan Kalyan are disappointed with the trailer cut. The trailer was oddly cut in portions and the music from Thaman, who is usually very dependable was average at best.

But to the happiness of the makers, the trailer has not affected the advanced bookings of the film. The advance bookings are super strong and shows are filling rapidly in all major and minor territories.

The Nizam bookings were opened yesterday and almost sold out immediately. Most of the shows are sold out for the opening day and the weekend bookings are also looking super strong.

In the USA, the pre-sales are expected to cross the half-million dollar mark by today or latest by tomorrow. Things are looking extremely positive for Bheemla Nayak so far. The movie will undoubtedly have a terrific opening weekend but it is to be seen whether it will have a successful run after the weekend.

Bheemla Nayak also stars Rana Daggubati, Nithya Menen, Samyuktha Menon, and Murali Sharma among others. Trivikram has written the screenplay and Saagar K Chandra is the director of the film. S. Naga Vamsi is the producer of the film and Thaman S is the music director.

AP Government targets Pawan Kalyan again for Bheemla Nayak !!

0

Pawan Kalyan has been one of the staunchest critics of the Andhra Pradesh government for quite some time. The Janasena chief has time and again questioned the misgovernance of the AP government and has faced consequences on his films.

Just like last year’s Vakeel Saab, this year his much-awaited Bheemla Nayak has also become a victim of political vendetta. The ticket price issue was resolved and the government had promised that the recommendations of AP Ticket Pricing Committee will be brought into implementation.

However, with just two days to go for the release, it appears that the new orders will not come anytime sooner. The government officials have instructed the theatre owners and distributors to strictly follow the GO 35. The new orders might come in the first week of March and will surely impact the film’s opening collections in AP.

In stark contrast to this, the Telangana government has permitted 5 shows for Bheemla Nayak till March 11th. It would be interesting to see how Pawan Kalyan reacts to this vendetta politics by the AP Government. With the pre-release event scheduled to happen today, Powerstar’s speech is surely going to be a fiery one! Bheemla Nayak is set to release on February 25th.

Tollywood top director Sukumar is on cloud nine. After directing Pushpa, which brought him greater fame and recognition pan-India, he has moved on to his next. His upcoming project is with Megastar Chiranjeevi and a photo of the two went viral earlier today.

Now, before we get too excited about the collaboration of the duo, here’s the real reason for the meeting. Sukumar will be directing Chiranjeevi for an ad film and not a full-length feature film as rumored. The rumours of Chiru working with Sukku went viral as soon as the pic was shared on social media. These rumours later cooled down after the revelation of an ad film.

The ace director has a project with Vijay Deverakonda and also the much-awaited Pushpa: The rule lined up next. Chiranjeevi on the other hand has Acharya up for release along with Godfather, Bhola Shankar, and Chiru 154 up next.

Can Pawan Kalyan join this elite club with Bheemla Nayak?

0

The clock is ticking and very soon fans are going to witness Powerstar Pawan Kalyan on the big screen. What’s special is that he will play a powerful cop role in Bheemla Nayak after a long time. The anticipation on this film has gone higher after the trailer release. Rana and Pawan Kalyan’s screen presence and their upcoming battle on the big screen has got fans hanging in excitement.

The movie’s pre-release business and bookings have given out quite a positive picture. And there is one question on everyone’s minds. Can Pawan Kalyan hit the Rs 100 crore mark with this action entertainer? Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Allu Arjun, and Ram Charan are the 5 Tollywood heroes in this Rs 100 crore club.

Powe Star’s last release Vakeel Saab showed some promise last time however corona occupancy restrictions and theatres shut down after 2 weeks stopped the film’s run. Now with no biggie releasing for 2 weeks, can Bheemla Nayak joins the league and put Powerstar in the elite club?

A remake of Malayalam superhit Ayyappannum Koshiyum, Bheemla Nayak will release on 25th February. Rana Daggubati, Nithya Menen, Samuthrikani, Murali Sharma, and Samyuktha Menon feature in this film. Sagar K Chandra has directed this film and Trivikram has written the screenplay.

3 Cr seven-star hotel set for Samantha’s upcoming film

0

Samantha’s stardom has risen by leaps and bounds in the last year or so. Her performance in Family Man 2 won her great applause and awards from the north market while her special song from Pushpa made her a sensation pan-India.

Samantha is now coming up with some exciting projects after a small break from work. She has wrapped up Gunasekhar’s Shaakuntalam. The first look of this film was released a couple of days back and Samantha’s poster was well appreciated by all.

She will also be seen in ‘Yashoda’ under Sreedevi Movie’s banner. The makers of this film are leaving no expense spared to ensure the film takes a grand shape. The producers have erected a massive seven-star hotel set worth a whopping Rs 3 crores for a special schedule of the film.

Initially, they scouted few-star hotels for the location. However, none of these hotels were practical for 30-40 days of the shoot. Hence acclaimed art director Ashok made a set of the hotel in the Ramanaidu Studios for the film.

Samantha has also signed a major international film titled ‘Arrangements of Love’. The film will be directed by acclaimed director Philip John. Samantha will play the role of a Tamil bisexual woman who runs her own detective agency.

Pawan Kalyan doing the same mistake of Vakeel Saab for Bheemla Naayak

0

Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab released last year was also a remake just like his upcoming film Bheemla Nayak. Vakeel Saab was a remake of the Hindi film Pink and many critics pointed out that the remake was quite well made keeping Telugu nativity in mind. The only drawback according to many was Vakeel Saab’s unnecessary flashback scene which derailed the film looked quite odd.

Now, as per reports, even Bheemla Nayak will have a flash-back sequence in the second half. This is again a deviation from Ayyappannum Koshiyum. The Malayalam version had no flashback despite being close to 3 hours in runtime.

Now Bheemla Nayak is just 2 and half hours in length which is a great thing. Trivikram and Pawan Kalyan have added many commercial elements and made the film racier by removing some songs and slow scenes. However, adding a flashback in the second half could be a counterproductive move and might backfire. We need to see whether it will helpful for the movie or not.

Bheemla Nayak will release on 25th February and the pre-release event will be held in Yousufguda Police Grounds tomorrow.
