Most awaited KGF2 Trailer date and time is out officially

A lot of expectations, lot of speculations, lot of rumours just for one film. Ofcourse it’s not just a film it’s one of the most wanted and the most awaited biggie of the year. Whatever about KGF2 either the rumour or the official announcement, it is spreading like a fire. The same happened with the trailer date. It is rumoured that the trailer is releasing on 8th March. The rumour circulated so fast among social media. Then the production house released a statement saying that the news is fake and official confirmation will be released soon. And finally today the most awaited KGF2 trailer date and time is out officially.

KGF chapter 2 is releasing in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam on 14th April, 2022 worldwide. Rocking star Yash fans are waiting for the makers to kick start the promotions with the trailer. Their wish is ready to be fulfilled with the trailer launch on 27th March 6:40 pm. So mark the date for the feast from the beast.

Post the Covid 2nd wave, the Telangana government offered pretty good flexible pricing to movies much to the relief of Tollywood. The ticket rates are increased in multiplexes at Rs 295 and Single screens at Rs 175/Rs200. With these prices, it appeared that Baahubali 2 record can be broken in the Nizam area.

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa and Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak were expected to shatter these records. While both these movies got off to a roaring start and gave massive numbers in the first weekend. The first weekend numbers of Pushpa and Bheemla Nayak were bigger than Baahubali 2 and it appeared that Prabhas’ record will finally be broken.

However, these films could not sustain the momentum going into the weekdays and Baahubali 2 record stays untouched in Nizam. Now it is upto Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam to give it a shot. Trade circles, as well as fans, are waiting eagerly to see if Prabhas can better his own Baahubali 2 record in Nizam with Radhe Shyam.

Radhe Shyam will release on March 11th and the film’s trailer has elevated the hype and excitement to another level. Prabhas holds a good track record in Nizam and we’ll know in a few days if Tollywood gets a new Nizam record.

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata is raising expectations day by day. The excitement for this movie is quite visible not just in fans but also in industry insiders. Tollywood top directors SS Rajamouli, Trivikram, and Koratala Siva visited the Sarkaru Vaari Paata sets yesterday. The trio hung out at the shoot location for a while and caught up with the movie unit.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata is gaining strong hype day by day and the makers are planning to ramp up this buzz in the days to come. The first single ‘Kalaavathi’ was a smash hit and has already clocked up 58 million views in a record time. Mahesh Babu’s stylish looks and Sid Sriram’s voice are the biggest plus points of the song. Kalaavathi had notched a whopping 16 million views in the first 24 hours and established a South India record. This record was quickly surpassed by Arabic Kuthu from Vijay’s Beast. The second single will be out in March 3rd or 4th week and an announcement will be made soon.

This Mahesh Babu starrer is all set to release on May 12th. Keerthy Suresh will be seen opposite Mahesh Babu. SS Thaman has composed the tunes while Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling this Parasuram directed project.

Rana Daggubati got full marks for his role in Bheemla Nayak. His voice and screen presence made his character much powerful that matched or some times dominated power star in Bheemla Nayak. Rana as Daniel Shekar is terrific and proved again that the loud characters are meant for him. After his recent success as an actor, everyone will definitely watch out for his line up.

Rana is already shooting for Rana Naidu, a Netflix web series. In this long form of story telling Rana is sharing screen with his uncle Victory Venkatesh. This American Tv series adaptation will show the duo in brand new avatars. While shooting for this new web series, Rana in an interview said that his next might be a sequel for his critically acclaimed movie “Leader”.

Rana started his acting career with Shekar Kammula’s Leader that is released in 2010 and received rave reviews from critics. In his interview Rana told that Shekar Kammula is working on the sequel to Leader. He laughed saying that Shekar meets me, narrates three scenes and leave. Reportedly the director who is enjoying his recent success with Love Story is taking his time to complete the script. This is going to be an exciting project to watch out for.

It’s raining remakes in Tollywood at the moment. After Pawan Kalyan with Bheemla Nayak, Megastar Chiranjeevi is coming up with Godfather and Bhola Shankar. Venkatesh’s last two films Narappa and Drishyam have been remakes as well. And now, Nagarjuna is all set to join the remakes club soon.

As per reports, Nagarjuna is interested in remaking the recent Malayalam hit movie Bro Daddy. Bro DThe comedy entertainer starred Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran as father and son. The film also featured Meena and Kalyani Priyadarshan and was a massive success at the box office.

If Nagarjuna actually remakes this film, it would be interesting to see who would be cast as his son. Recently, there were reports of him joining hands with younger son Akhil for a project. The senior actor is currently busy with Bigg Boss Non-Stop. He would be next seen in Praveen Sattaru’s ‘The Ghost’.

Here’s another good news for Tollywood biggies lined up for release up next. March is going to witness two of the biggest pan-India release from Tollywood -Radhe Shyam and RRR. These movies are sure to set a box office rampage and create new milestones in the collection. The positive buzz around these movies and heightened anticipation is a sign of a massive box-office storm.

Film industries across India have struggled over the last couple of years due to continuous theatre closures and occupancy restrictions. Even now there are restrictions in occupancy in many theatres due to COVID 3rd wave. Telangana had lifted these restrictions a while ago and so did AP and other southern states. Earlier last week, Kerala lifted the restrictions as well.

Now in great news for Radhe Shyam and RRR, the Maharashtra government decided to do away with the restrictions. This is massive news for these biggies as Maharashtra is a massive market and complete occupancy would mean a greater shot at humongous box office collections.

Radhe Shyam is set to release on 11th March while RRR will release on 25th March. This is the perfect release time for these biggies. Even the AP government is releasing the new G.O soon which will aid these pan-India biggies greatly. The last couple of years have been quite testing for the filmmakers. First, it was the shooting delays and later release date delays that brought greater gloom to all.

With situations improving and the government’s also working in the direction of theatres revival, film industries are all set to thrive.

Normally in the Telugu Film Industry, the so-called “class” films do not open to huge numbers at the box office like the commercial genre flicks. With Saaho, Prabhas created a lot of records with the opening collections. The collections in both the South as well as the North were mind-blowing.

But, Saaho was a commercial action entertainer that was marketed extremely well. It also had the added advantage of being Prabhas’ next film after Bahubali: The Conclusion.

But now there are no real advantages for Radhe Shyam. In fact, there are a lot of negative factors for Radhe Shyam. Firstly, it is a class film and Prabhas is used to more mass movies. The director of Radhe Shyam, Radha Krishna Kumar is also not a notable director by any means. His first and latest film, Jil was a flop at the box office.

The only positive of the film is the name, Prabhas. It will be interesting to see if his stardom can pull people to the theatres. The trending topic currently in the industry circles is whether Radhe Shyam will open to massive collections or lull at the collections box.
