Script Changes For Prabhas-Maruthi Film

It is common news now that Prabhas has signed a horror-comedy film titled Raja Deluxe with director Maruthi. When the news broke out, fans and people, in general, were shocked by Prabhas’ decision to opt for a low-budget film amidst all his Pan-Indian projects.

As per the plans, Raja Deluxe was supposed to launch officially in the first week of April but something has gone wrong. Prabhas has not liked the final narration of the script and has asked Maruthi to change a few elements.

Prabhas has clearly mentioned that the project can be started as soon as the entire script is ready. Now, Maruthi is working hard day and night to alter the script with the help of his writing team.

Prabhas is now at a stage in his career where he needs to choose his scripts carefully. With Radhe Shyam, it became clear that however big the star is, content is always king. Maruthi is currently coming off of a bunch of failures. One can only hope that he turns it around with Raja Deluxe.

Prashanth Neel – The name that vibrated all over India with the blockbuster KGF. This kannada director is only two films old and he created his own mark in the industry. His debut Ugramm with his brother in law Srimurali is a commercial success in kannada. And his second KGF is a blockbuster success not only in kannada but all over India. The director’s third KGF 2 is ready to release in two days. The director is very busy in promoting KGF2 and is giving interviews to various channels continuously. The straight forward director came up with an interesting answer for a question in one of the interviews.

In an interview when asked how he will get inspiration to write these kind of stories, the director came up with an unexpected response. Before answering he made sure with the host that it should not be removed in the editing. Prashanth Neel said that he writes his stories when he got drunk. Adding to that the director told that he will write when he feels high and move forward with the script if he feels the same high in the next day morning while he read the script. The video is going viral in the social media already.

As Friday is approaching everyone is eagerly waiting for movie releases. KGF 2 and Beast are ready to blast at theatres on this Friday, there are some interesting releases on OTT too. Sharwanand’s Aadavallu meeku Joharlu that got postponed before is now ready to entertain from 14th April in SonyLiv. Kannada kannada Powerstar Late. Punith Raj kumar’s last movie James will stream from 14th in the same SonyLiv.

Malayalam family drama Veyil that released on 25th Feb in theatres will stream from 15th April in Amazon prime video. Gaddala konda Ganesh’s bollywood remake Bachan Pandey starring Akshay Kumar, kriti sanon will play from 15th April in Amazon prime video. Along with these, a science fiction comedy film Naai Sekhar from kollywood is makung its way on 15th April in SunNxt.

KGF2 pre-release business details and box office classifications

Yash starrer KGF2 pre-release business is going all guns blazing and setting many records for a dubbed movie in Telugu states. The film is all set to release this week on 14th April and has already set up a benchmark in terms of trade.

Coming to worldwide numbers, the film has done a staggering business of Rs 350 crores worldwide. KGF2 is own release by Hombale Films in all languages and is on its way to a record-opening business for sure. It is a pan- India project and will release in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam.

Following are the KGF2 pre-release business details worldwide. The numbers are pure estimates which are considering the valued prices and other criteria.

Buzz: Sarkaru Vaari Paata likely to postpone for the nth time ?

Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata has been subject to its fair share of hurdles in the past couple of months. The shooting of the film was supposed to be completed a long while ago but it is still not complete.

There were also issues with the script of the film and Mahesh himself had to get involved in changes in the script. The makers had assured the buyers that the movie will release on May 12th and asked them to do theatre agreements.

But now, the industry insiders have revealed that Sarkaru Vaari Paata might not release on May 12th as originally planned. The reason cited by them is pending shoot work and patchwork in a few important scenes of the film.

To add to all this, the producers of Mythri Movies have not yet started the promotional activities for the film. With only a month left for the release, this is a worrying sign. All of this added up has led to the creation of a strong buzz from industry insiders that Sarkaru Vaari Paata might be postponed.

Only time will tell how all of these reshoots and patchwork will work out for the film.

If you ask any KGF fan what he/she liked the most about the film, the first thing that comes out of their mouth is “elevation scenes”. There is no denying that KGF Chapter 1 brought back elevation scenes and heroism in its rawest form.

During the promotions of KGF 2, when Prashant Neel was asked about how he writes his heroic elevation scenes, this was his reply. “I don’t care if I receive hate for this but Telugu cinema has to be my inspiration for the heroism. No one does it better than them.”

Back in the 90s, I absolutely loved Chiranjeevi Sir. He was my favorite actor in the 90s. There were emotions and a solid story but there were also these mass hero scenes that were enjoyable.” he added.

We sometimes underestimate the influence that Chiranjeevi has had on Indian cinema and when star directors like Prashant Neel have good things to say, it is always a proud feeling.

Meanwhile KGF Chapter 2 is all set for release on 14th April in theatres.

Tollywood Industry silence on RRR Box-office benchmark 

1000cr gross is once an unimaginable dream to any Indian film industry. But Tollywood achieved it with Baahubali 2. It was a celebration. It was an achievement everyone celebrated. Then Dangal joined the list from bollywood. And again there is no other film till RRR to reach that magic figure. So it’s not an easy task to any one to achieve this. But it is SS Rajamouli that gave two back to back films in that elite list of 1000cr gross club. If this is not enough to celebrate what will be?

 

When Baahubali2 hits 1000Cr gross mark all the Heros , Directors , Producers and other people from industry praised Rajamouli and team. RRR has joined the 1000Cr club and there is hardly any response from Tollywood industry people for unknown reasons. RRR is filled with the cast that everyone loves. Ram charan, NTR and Rajamouli maintains good relation with all. So we don’t find any reason that is stopping the industry to celebrate the achievement. Let’s see when the bubble will break and the praises will pour in.

The biggies Beast and KGF 2 runtime details

Finally, the much-awaited release week of biggies Beast and KGF 2 has arrived. While Vijay starrer Beast will release on 13th April, Yash’s pan India action thriller will arrive on 14th. Both these films are releasing with tremendous buzz and massive audience expectations.

Both these movies have taken a contrasting route when it comes to their runtime strategies. Beast will have a 1st half of 1:30 hours while the second half will be of 1:08 hours. KGF 2 will be quite opposite to Beast and will have a lengthier 2nd half which will be 1:32 hours while the first half will be 1:15 hours.

Overall KGF: Chapter 2 is a lengthier movie by just over 10 minutes and will have some heavy-duty action sequences involving Yash and Sanjay Dutt. Beast, on the other hand, has been shot mostly inside a mall and will cover a hijack rescue mission undertaken by Vijay.

Nelson Dileepkumar has directed beast and it also stars Pooja Hegde, Redin Kingsley, and Selvaraghavan among others. KGF: Chapter 2 will be helmed by Prashanth Neel and it stars Raveena Tandon, Sanjay Dutt, Prakash Raj, and Srinidhi Shetty among others.

Both Beast and KGF 2 are having terrific advance bookings and are all set to have a record opening on Day 1.

KGF: Chapter 2 director Prashanth Neel and the leading man of the film Yash are busy with the promotional events of the film. The duo are traveling across the cities for the past few days to promote this action thriller sequel to the 2018 blockbuster film.

During these promotional interviews, Prashanth Neel shared many interesting behind-the-scenes snippets about KGF:2 and his other upcoming films. After KGF:2, the action director will get busy with his next pan India project which is Salaar with Prabhas. Almost 30% of the shoot has been completed in this film which will co-star Shruti Haasan.

Speaking about his Salaar and his next project with Jr NTR “NTR31”, the director made quite a surprising revelation. He said that all the Tollywood stars such as Prabhas, Jr NTR, and Ram Charan approached him first for a project. It was only later that he started working on the script.

Prashanth Neel recently met Mega Star Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan in Hyderabad. Ever since the meet, the rumours of their collaboration have become louder.

Meanwhile, Prashant Neel has expressed his excitement to work with Jr NTR. He said that the Young Tiger liked his story a lot and both of them are working on creating something amazing.

“I have been a fan of NTR for the last 15-20 years. We have met 10 to 15 times just casually before we even started the script work. I wanted to understand him a little more and that’s my process with all my actors,” he also added.
